Lauren Sanchez is quickly becoming a prominent name in the fashion world, especially after she made her debut at Paris Haute Couture Week this month – but her own closet is equally as impressive.
Over the past few years, she’s shown off her lavish and expensive array of designer handbags, coats and dresses, but perhaps what’s even more enviable is her sizable shoe collection.
Sanchez, who married Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos in June, is known for favoring designers like Christian Louboutin, Gianvito Rossi, and Hermès for her footwear fashion.
The former journalist is also not afraid to take risks when it comes to shoe selection, either, as she’s been pictured in everything from sky-high leather boots to clear high-heels.
Most recently, while attending Schiaparelli’s Paris Show, she paired her bold red suit from the designer with an equally daring pair of bright red suede pumps by Gianvito Rossi. During her trip, she also sported a white pair of heels made by Jimmy Choo.
And, according to celebrity stylist Kim Appelt, Sanchez’s shoes send a clear message about who she is.
‘Her shoe choices, regardless of what they are, signal that she is a woman that knows what works for her and is confident in her choice,’ Appelt told the Daily Mail.

Since being in the spotlight more than ever over the past few years, there are two shoe brands that Sanchez has remained loyal to – and those are Christian Louboutin and Gianvito Rossi.
Sanchez has often been spotted wearing Louboutin pumps to major events in tried-and-true neutral colors.
Heels from the designer often retail for around $1,000, and are also a favorite of First Lady Melania Trump.
Last April, while appearing at the Breakthrough Prize Awards, Sanchez sported a pair of beige, patent leather So Kate heels by the designer, which she paired with a figure-hugging, red silk dress.
In October, for a date night with husband Bezos, she showed off her trim pins in black strappy Louboutin heels, which she paired with a short, bedazzled, floral-print dress by Roberto Cavalli.
And, according to image strategist and celebrity publicist Tracy Lamourie, one reason why Sanchez might be such a fan of the French designer is because of its sheer recognizability. The shoes are marked by their bright red bottoms.
‘Her preference for Christian Louboutin comes back to classic power dressing with a sexualized edge,’ Lamourie told the Daily Mail.

‘Louboutin is instantly legible. Louboutin is luxury. It communicates wealth, confidence, and comfort with attention,’ she explained.
Sanchez has also been spotted in thigh-high black leather boots by the designer, as well as their clear, jelly-like high heels.
Of course, she also appears to own Louboutin heels in other plain colors, like black.
Lamourie told the Daily Mail that Louboutin is a popular choice for people who know that they are in the spotlight.
‘The red sole is definitely not subtle. She doesn’t need subtle,’ Lamourie said.
When she’s not wearing Louboutin shoes, the Fly Who Flew To Space author is often seen wearing Italian designer Gianvito Rossi.
Gianvito Rossi has a similar price point as Louboutin, often retailing for well over $1,000.
In April 2024, while attending a state dinner for Japan, she sported a pair of Gianvito Rossi Flavia mirrored leather pumps with her dark red, corset-style dress.

While on her bachelorette party in Paris last May, she was seen in a pair of bridal-esque, white satin closed-toe pumps from the designer.

Of course, in addition to her collection of Hermès Birkin bags, Sanchez also owns shoes from the exclusive French brand.
While on vacation, she seems to reach for the brand’s Oran sandals, which start at $900.
They can go up in price depending on the type of animal skin, leather, or material that they’re made from.
While on holiday in Saint-Tropez in June 2023, Sanchez was seen sporting a glittering gray pair of the sandals, which she paired with a boldly-printed tube mini dress and turquoise necklace.
‘Even when her look is playful, it’s authority-driven, not experimentation,’ Lamourie told the Daily Mail.

‘The Hermès sandals are quiet access layered under flash,’ she said.
‘Her shoes are not accessories, they’re punctuation,’ the expert added.
‘Everything that she chooses to put on her body is essentially sending a message of access, not aspiration.’
And, when Sanchez opts for comfortable tennis shoes, she’s been known to choose a $590 platform pair from Alexander McQueen.
In October 2021, the pilot was snapped walking the streets of New York in an all-white pair of the tennis shoes with Bezos as they shopped around.
She paired the sneakers with a brown mini tank dress at the time, along with an oversized white blazer and a brown Hermès Birkin bag.
In August 2022, while on vacation in London with Bezos, she also sported the sporty-chic shoes, this time with black detailing on the back.

Sanchez is notorious for her bright personality, as it’s been proven time and time again that she’s not afraid to have fun in her personal life – evident from her and Bezos’ recent Christmas partying holiday in St. Barts.
It’s also a trait that seems to translate into her fashion style, and especially her shoes collection.
The Fly Who Flew To Space author has been spotted wearing multiple pairs of playful heels and fun boots in recent years.
In 2022, while on vacation in Aspen, she sported a pair of shiny, white Chanel combat boots that were originally estimated to be over $1,300, according to a listing on resale site The Real Real.
The shoes featured the words ‘Chanel’ in large silver letters on the front of both of the boots.
At the time, she paired the look with a bright, magenta wrap-waist coat and tight nude leggings.

‘They are her own look. They show somebody dressing to be seen, dressing to be noticed, not necessarily dressing to be liked.’
In November 2024, she wore a pair of thigh-high, black leather stiletto boots by Jimmy Choo to sign copies of her book.
At the time, the wild shoes were reported to be worth over $2,000.
