A new TV spin-off of the film series Pitch Perfect is in the works, and people are ready to see if this new TV show will be as popular as the musical comedy films. But will you be able to watch the Pitch Perfect show on Netflix when it releases? We answer this burning question here.

Not much information is out about this upcoming television series, but we’ll share with you what we know. First, it wouldn’t be a Pitch Perfect spin-off without singing and dancing. Plus, it’s looking like Pitch Perfect show will be a musical series, so you can definitely expect these important aspects.

Remember how the Pitch Perfect movies revolved around the Barden Bellas? The Pitch Perfect show will not be about the all-girl a cappella group. Instead, it will be about Adam DeVine’s character in the comedy film (Bumper).

According to Deadline, the series will be set several years after we last saw Bumper in the films. In the comedy series, we’ll see Bumper move to Germany to revive his music career after one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.

Bumper was a funny character in the musical films, and we enjoyed his friendly banter with Rebel Wilson’s character, Fat Amy. DeVine is the only cast member revealed so far, but we expect the release of the names of the whole cast of the Pitch Perfect show as production gets started.

Now let’s discuss if this upcoming series is coming to Netflix.

Is the Pitch Perfect show coming to Netflix?

We really wanted to tell you that this comedy series was going to come to Netflix, but it isn’t. It’s actually going to be on another streaming service when it releases, and that saddens us. However, there is more than enough musical content on Netflix that you can stream right now.

You should check out the Netflix originals Been So LongThe Prom and A Week Away. Also, on Oct. 1, Diana: The Musical will be released on the platform, so try to check that Netflix special out.

Where to watch Pitch Perfect show

The streaming service, Peacock, ordered the upcoming comedy series, so it will be released on Peacock when it comes out. So if you really want to see this spin-off, make sure you have a subscription to Peacock.

With a plot like this, we think this series will have many seasons. So you don’t want to miss it when it releases on Peacock in the future! For now, try to check out the Netflix movies we listed above.
