James Middleton has shared a scenic video revealing a hobby he shares with his wife – but the clip left fans both awe-struck and ‘frightened’ in equal measure.
The Princess of Wales’s brother, 38, took to Instagram to post a video of Alizée Thevenet, who he wed in 2021, jogging along an extremely picturesque Alpine route.
A caption accompanying the footage suggested that the activity is about more than just fitness for the couple, as James wrote: ‘Ever since we met, Alizée and I have been running side by side.
‘In fact, if we ever argue, running is our way of clearing the air (partly because neither of us can talk while we do it.’
He continued: ‘More recently, it’s been about running after Inigo but recently I planned this Alpine run and it might just be the most beautiful yet.’
The video footage showed that the couple were accompanied by two of their dogs; James has frequently shared his love of dogs, and currently has six: Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, Nala and Isla.
While his followers agreed that ‘nature is the best cure’ for a fight, several people noted the running trail looked ‘extremely narrow’ as they urged the couple to ‘keep safe’.
One person wrote: ‘BE CAREFUL! Some of those paths look awfully narrow- I’d be terrified!’

Another added: ‘Stunning nature scenery but looks scary but it just may look steeper than it is.’
‘Such beautiful surroundings…I imagine the air there is magnificent,’ a third remarked, adding: ‘Be careful running down those steep mountains…have a glorious time.’
‘Very sure footed. Looks beautiful but terrifying,’ another said.
James’s latest Instagram post comes after he shared a touching tribute to his one-year-old son Inigo.
The tot was seen throwing sticks into a small creek and even trying to push his mother into the water at one point.
In the short clip, Inigo donned a khaki green dungarees romper, a blue T shirt and a sun hat to cover his face from the summer sunshine.
In a caption accompanying the clip, James described his son as ‘adventurous’ and ‘cheeky’.
The caption said: ‘My adventurous (and cheeky) little boy how are you nearly two already.

‘Everyone says it goes fast…but I didn’t realise it would be this fast’.
People took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the post – with some also lamenting how quickly time flies.
One wrote: ‘Wow, almost 2 yrs old already?!? How time does fly! Enjoy every moment…it really does go too fast! My “babies” are now 19 and 21, but I still remember them at this stage…oh, my heart. He seems like an adorable adventurer; what a wonderful life you folks lead.’
‘Wow Time really does fly!’ another commenter said. ‘He looks like such a happy little cheeky adventurer just like his dad and mum. That moment where he’s trying to push Alizée in the water and smacking her with the stick cracked me up, that’s totally something my kids would do too! Enjoy every moment it all goes by in the blink of an eye. Wishing you all the best and I hope you all have a wonderful day.’
A third agreed, noting: ‘James, it goes by faster than you realize. My oldest will be 30 in January. Just yesterday he started kindergarten. Keep him close as long as possible!’
Also talking about Inigo, a further Instagram users added: ‘He’s adorable, even when he’s trying to push his beautiful mum into the water! And those cute doggies too, what a lovely family.’
‘Lovely photos of your son enjoying nature making memories with the whole family,’ another simply said.
James, who founded dog food company Ella & Co and has been open about his past struggles with depression, has previously credited nature, animals, and now fatherhood with transforming his mental health.
