Jelly Roll looked happy as can be at Friday’s premiere of the animated movie Goat just days after facing criticism for his religious speech at the Grammys, but then he had his adorable nine-year-old son, Noah, for backup.
The 41-year-old country singer made the Los Angeles event a father-son affair as the pair posed on the red carpet smiling and giving the thumbs up.
Jelly Roll and Noah were dressed alike in dark clothing, with the slimmed down Son of a Sinner draped in his signature black duds and reverse baseball cap and his boy clad in a stylish button-down jacket with white and blue stripes at collar and cuffs.
The crooner – who insisted he lost 300 pounds without Ozempic – was all too proud to be a part of the crowd, as he voices the part of Grizz, a brutish grizzly bear roarball player.
Goat, which will be released February 13, follows a teenage goat named Will (Caleb McLaughlin) who dreams of becoming a professional player of roarball, a high-intensity, high-combat, co-ed sport involving the fastest and most ferocious animals of the world.
The list of stars who lent their voices also includes Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry, Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Jennifer Hudson and more.

The father-of-two’s appearance comes just days after his religious acceptance speech at the Grammys caused a frenzy among liberals
Jelly Roll’s joyful evening out with Noah comes on the heels of his win for Best Contemporary Country Album at Sunday night’s Grammys ceremony, where he beat out the likes of Miranda Lambert, Tyler Childers, Eric Church and Kelsea Ballerini.
But his emotional speech about Jesus and how Christianity, like music, ‘changed my life’ is what had the internet buzzing.
‘I believe that music had the power to change my life, and God had the power to change my life,’ Jelly Roll told the audience crowded into the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
‘I want to tell y’all right now: Jesus is for everybody. Jesus is not owned by one political party. Jesus is not owned by no… label. Jesus is Jesus.’
Jelly Roll emphasized his point by holding up a small bible for everyone to see.
Liberals accused Jelly Roll of suffering from ‘religious psychosis’ while others blamed his heavily religious words on his weight loss, having shed almost 300 pounds in recent years.
‘That GLP-1 really fast-tracked the religious psychosis for Jelly Roll, huh,’ one X user wrote, despite the Wild Ones hitmaker saying his weight loss was the result of consistent exercise and diet and not GLP-1 medications like Ozempic.
Another added, ‘Jelly Roll being like scary skinny suddenly, girl, what happened. Now the face tattoos and Jesus talk seem even more menacing.’

Jelly Roll doesn’t usually bring his kids to red carpet events but he obviously made this an exception as he voices the part of Grizz, a brutish grizzly bear in the Columbia PIctures and Sony PIctures Animation’s film Goat

‘Does this mf Jelly Roll ever just talk normal?’ a third person joined in.
Also part of Jelly Roll’s acceptance speech was a heartfelt salute to his longtime wife Bunnie Xo for saving his life during his darkest days.
Jelly Roll has been open about his past struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, as well as a troubled life that included prison time for aggravated robbery and drug possession.
The country star – who is also dad to daughter Bailee Ann, 17 – admitted that he would be ‘dead or in jail’ if it weren’t for Bunnie Xo in his life.
