Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn make surprising marriage confession after 18 years together

Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn are getting candid about their finances.

The couple revealed that they don’t share their financial information with each other even after 18 years of marriage.

“We keep our money completely separate,” Romijn said on Thursday’s episode of Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live.” Though, she noted that they do have a “community pot” for family expenses.

“That’s like one of the first conversations you have when you decide to enter into a legal agreement together,” the “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” star, 52, added.

The couple, who share twin daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, both 16, went on to share that they contribute to their family account “quarterly.”

“I have to say, we actually throttle how much money we put into that account sometimes,” O’Connell, 51, shared. While Romijn clarified that the amounts depend “on who’s working more.”

“The one who’s not working gets a little bit of a break and the one who is working puts in a little more,” Romijn added. “And we really tag-team with work.”

Romijn also divulged how they decided after the birth of their girls that “one of us would always stay home with our daughters” while the other works.

“So, no one else is ever going to raise them besides us,” she continued.

The conversation came about as Cohen joked that O’Connell’s pockets must have taken a hit after his hosting gig on CBS’ “The Talk” ended last year.

O’Connell, who wed Romijn in 2007, joined the daytime talk show as a permanent host in 2021 following Sharon Osbourne’s exit after several guest co-host appearances.

The series concluded after a 15-season run on Dec. 20, 2024.
