Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and wife Hailee Steinfeld may have only days left before their big arrival.
The pair have been relatively tight-lipped about the due date of their first child, but reports have indicated that they could be nearing the end of the first pregnancy for the actress and former NFL MVP. Speculation has built over the winter as Steinfeld missed a big event and Allen has flown under the radar, his common NFL offseason approach.
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s Baby Due Soon
Allen and Steinfeld tied the knot last May, then announced in December that they were expecting their first child together. Steinfeld has shared some details of her pregnancy with subscribers to her Beau Society newsletter, while avoiding giving a hard date.
They have given some clues — including the timing of their announcement and a baby shower held earlier in March — and USA Today’s Robert Zeglinski pieced them together to get a projected due date before the end of the month.
“Outside of a social media post here and there (they revealed Steinfeld was pregnant in mid-December), Allen and Steinfeld have been appropriately cryptic about their baby plans,” Zeglinski wrote. “In a beautiful family moment like this, privacy is obviously of the utmost importance. Everyone knows that. Fans have speculated that Allen and Steinfeld waited until at least the second trimester (roughly weeks 14-27) to reveal that they were expecting. That would place a potential due date around some time in March 2026, which feels very soon!”
That prediction would also explain why Steinfeld skipped out on the Academy Awards earlier this month, even though her movie “Sinners” set a record for nominations. In one of her last public appearances at the Golden Globe Awards in January, Steinfeld had a noticeable baby bump.

Josh Allen Excited to Become a Dad
Allen has shared his excitement about becoming a father, telling reporters at a press conference where Joe Brady was announced as head coach that it will be the most important phase of his life.
“I’ve got siblings that have kids, I’ve got a lot of friends that have kids. I don’t know if you can plan too far in advance,” Allen said. “So I’m very much looking forward to that with my wife, of becoming a dad. It’s something that I will take with great pride. And we’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else.”
Steinfeld has also shared her excitement, saying before she announced the pregnancy in December that Allen is the perfect partner and that she couldn’t wait to start a family with him.
“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” she said in an interview with Bustle. “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”
