The New York Knicks paid a visit to the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, March 11.
Although the Knicks got off to a rough start in the first half, they found a good balance in the final two quarters and managed to take care of business.
The Knicks defeated the Utah Jazz 134-117.
Before the game, the Knicks ruled out the starting forward, Josh Hart. As a result, the Knicks rolled out Landry Shamet for his 10th start of the year.
Jalen Brunson posted 28 points and eight assists in 33 minutes of action. OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns were the other two starters to exceed 20 points on the night.
Meanwhile, off the bench, Jordan Clarkson had a strong showing. In front of his former crowd, Clarkson logged an efficient 27 points in 26 minutes. After the game, the injured Josh Hart took to social media to shout him out.

Heading into the game, Hart was dealing with left knee soreness.
Being present on the injury report isn’t anything new for Hart, but Wednesday night presented a different outcome.
Hours before the game was set to tip off, Hart was downgraded to doubtful. It wasn’t too long before he was officially ruled out.
Wednesday night in Utah was Hart’s first absence since February 4.

Over the offseason, Clarkson was a big addition for the Knicks.
The rebuilding Jazz cut ties with Clarkson via buyout. The veteran forward inked a deal with the Knicks, intending to play a key role for the Eastern Conference contenders.
For the first 44 games of the year, Clarkson didn’t miss any action. He started logging scattered DNPs in late January. At the start of March, Clarkson sat out three games in a row. His recent averages over the past three games were under 10 minutes.
Wednesday’s game was just what Clarkson needed.
He went 10-15 from the field, 3-5 from three, and 4-4 from the free-throw line to score 27 points off the bench. He also came down with five rebounds and dished out three assists.
This season, Clarkson is averaging 8.6 points for the Knicks. During his six seasons in Utah, he produced 17.5 points per game. With the Cleveland Cavaliers, he put up 15.5 points per game over three years, then 14.3 points per game over four seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.
