Julia Fox identifies as pansexual.
One year after coming out as a lesbian, the actress clarified to Allure that she “could be attracted to anyone and anything.”
In the wide-ranging interview, published Tuesday, the 35-year-old explained, “If it were just down to the physical, I’m more attracted to the female body. Men don’t do it for me at all [physically].”
However, Fox noted that she “can be attracted to a man’s mind” because she is “a vibes person.”
The “Uncut Gems” star went on to say she has “never gotten to full relationship status” with a woman despite “definitely [having] crushes and [doing] some stuff.”
Fox “can’t see why a man would be beneficial” in her life — and no longer wishes to “entertain” them.
In fact, she doesn’t miss men “at all.”
Instead, Fox is “laser-focused on being a good mom [to son Valentino], on being a good provider, on making [her] dreams come true.”
The model, notably, shares her 4-year-old child with her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev, with whom she was married from 2018 to 2020.
She quipped, “There’s just so much more you can do with your time than waiting around to see if a guy’s going to text you back or not.”
The “Down the Drain” author issued a playful apology — “So sorry, boys!” — when she came out as a lesbian in a July 2024 TikTok, shortly after revealing she was two years celibate.
At the time, Fox reposted a video of a social media user saying, “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like ‘Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him.’”
Fox, who briefly dated Kanye West in 2022, revealed that she “was that lesbian” but promised it “won’t happen again.”
As for why she had a “harder time” realizing she was queer, the “Forbidden Fruits” co-host said on Tuesday that women “are so programmed to perform for men.”
She noted, “So much of my survival was hinged upon men taking care of me.”
