Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin revealed Monday night that she has been hospitalized over a medical issue she did not disclose.
The 50-year-old shared earlier this month that her bladder has ‘never been right’ ever since she gave birth to her now 21-year-old sextuplets.
However she declined to specify the nature of her current health problem, or whether it was connected to her bladder, when she updated fans on her TIkTok this week.
She posted an image of her hand hooked up to an IV in a hospital bed, asking: ‘Please pray for me tonight and tomorrow. I will be fine, but I’m scared and would appreciate your prayers! Thanks, guys.’
In her caption, she wrote: ‘Emergencies don’t care about schedules,’ iterating that he wanted fans not to ‘worry’ about her but to ‘pray’ instead.
‘I’d really appreciate it! Don’t worry, story time to follow when I’m able! Love you guys! I’ll be back as soon as I can!’ the mother-of-eight shared.

A fan commented: ‘You are a strong woman who can do hard things! Praying to Jesus for your comfort and healing,’ earning a reply from Kate.
After thanking the commenter, Kate wrote: ‘I had to call upon that strength that I know I have deep down tonight! And I appreciate your prayers!’
Kate and her ex-husband Jon Gosselin shot to fame in 2007 on the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, which followed their lives raising twins and sextuplets.
After their divorce in 2009, the show was rebranded Kate Plus 8 and staggered on for a further eight years on TLC before ending in 2017.
Earlier this month, Kate – whose twins with Jon are 24 – laid bare the health problems she has suffered ever since her last pregnancy.
She explained that while expecting her sextuplets, her ‘stomach was squished up here, like one inch,’ while her ‘bladder was squished way down here, compressed the whole time with baby weight. Compressed, compressed, compressed,’ via TikTok.
The babies were delivered via cesarean and Kate then had to use a catheter for a week, since when ‘my bladder has never been right,’ she said. ‘I can’t exactly explain it, or put my finger on it. But it just is very different after that.’
Kate’s health scare this week comes after she news broke of her romance with her former bodyguard Steve Neild, 50, a whopping 17 years after they were first linked.

Steve became Kate’s bodyguard in 2008 while she was with Jon, and around that time they were dogged by affair rumors, which they have denied.
However when news of their current relationship went public last week, Jon publicly hinted that Kate cheated on him with Steve during their marriage.
Last week, Jon shared a link to a recent Page Six story about Kate and Steve dating and wrote: ”Guess who really ruined the marriage. Read for yourself.’
Jon and Kate’s son Collin – one of the 21-year-old sextuplets – then posted to his own Insta Stories and backed up his father’s version of events.
‘What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009, and for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was in a connected room!’ wrote Collin.
‘Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance. By the way my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for “having an affair” and “leaving his kids,”‘ he reminded his followers.
Last Monday, Kate gushed on TikTok that she was ‘actually, finally’ dating again and was ‘super happy’ with her man, whom she had been with for 14 or 15 months.
An insider then alleged that Kate and Steve have been dating for some time, adding that they live together and are headed for the aisle.
‘There’s no doubt that Kate is crazy about him…things are serious, they have discussed wedding plans and moving on that next stage,’ said the source.
