Kate Hudson pairs orange corduroy set with snow boots for shopping in Aspen

Nothing says “Aspen chic” quite like an unexpected fashion flashback.

While the rest of the A-list set is busy trying to make silent luxury happen in head-to-toe designer vintage, Kate Hudson is leaning into a much louder — and much groovier — holiday aesthetic.

The “Glass Onion” star was spotted hitting the boutiques of Aspen this week with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, 7-year-old daughter, Rani, and their little white dog, braving the cold in a vibrant orange corduroy set that looks like it was plucked straight from a 1970s ski lodge.

But if the outfit looks familiar, it’s because Hudson is a certified outfit-repeater with a penchant for lucky charms.

Style spotters will recall she wore this exact same burnt-orange ensemble back in March 2025 to cheer on the Lakers with her nephew, Wilder, from her usual courtside perch. That appearance came just weeks after Season 1 of her hit Netflix comedy, “Running Point,” took the streaming world by storm in February.

In the series, Hudson plays Isla Gordon, the first-ever female president of a legendary (and very Lakers-esque) basketball franchise. Clearly, the corduroy was a nod to her on-screen “court presence,” and it seems she’s not ready to retire the look just yet.

This time, however, Hudson swapped the sleek sock booties for heavy-duty Sorel Caribou snow boots — despite a disappointingly snowless week in Aspen — proving that corduroy is indeed the most versatile fabric in a sports enthusiast’s winter wardrobe.

It’s a big week for the Fabletics founder, who is currently trading the “Running Point” whistle for a microphone. Her highly anticipated new musical biopic, “Song Sung Blue,” officially hits theaters this Christmas Day. Starring alongside Hugh Jackman, Hudson plays one half of a real-life Neil Diamond tribute band duo. And it’s already getting excellent reviews… at least, from her brother, Oliver.

Between the basketball court, the concert stage, and the Aspen slopes, one thing is clear: Kate Hudson is having a very bright—and very orange—year.
