There’s nothing “Hot N Cold” about their relationship.
Katy Perry confirmed her romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during her Prague concert after a fan in the crowd asked the singer to marry him with a sign.
“This guy is trying to get me to marry him and he has a ring in his hand,” Perry said on Thursday, per a TikTok video of the interaction.
“No! I am dating someone else for crying out f–king loud,” she told the crowd.
The announcement comes shortly after the pair made their first public appearance together at Paris’ Crazy Horse cabaret as they celebrated Perry’s 41st birthday earlier this week.
A source told Page Six earlier this week that Trudeau, 53, is on cloud nine dating the pop star.
“He is crazy about her and thinks she is the perfect woman,” the insider described. “They are simpatico on everything including politics, kids and French food.”
“They both have a sparkle for each other,” the source added.
The duo first sparked romance rumors in July when they were seen having dinner at chic Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.
A few days later, Trudeau was spotted watching Perry take the stage at her “Lifetimes” tour stop at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
They were since spotted getting hot and heavy on a yacht date earlier this month while they sailed off the coast of Santa Barbara, Calif.
But, while Trudeau is a fan of the romance, other sources previously told Page Six that the relationship is the former politician’s version of a “midlife crisis.”
“Dating Katy may just be Justin’s answer to going to Burning Man,” said a Canadian society source. “It’s a bit of a midlife crisis.”
Trudeau resigned as Prime Minister of Canada in January after a decade. He also previously ended his relationship with his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, in August 2023.
“He is sowing his oats all over again,” a source previously told Page Six. “He’s free from the ties of office and his marriage.”
Perry also recently broke up with her fiancé Orlando Bloom in June after nearly 10 years of dating.
