But a furious policeman was forced to intervene when they spotted her holding up the road for the well-intentioned moment.
Kerry, 44, was easy to spot in her neon green car which she bought after overcoming bankruptcy, as she drove down a busy street in Alderley Edge.
When the fan spotted her, he walked down the middle of the road, while frantically opening his camera, causing Kerry to slow down and then stop.
A police officer came running over to move them on and Kerry drove off, with the officer in question having a furious word with the fan.

In the clip shared to her Instagram back then, Kerry filmed herself with her bright green car in the background.
She quickly reassured her 858k followers that the video wasn’t meant to be about bragging but about resilience, highlighting how she has bounced back from hardships including two bankruptcies, failed marriages, and a near-fatal battle with drugs.
Filming herself on her mobile, Kerry displayed her fancy car behind her and told her fans that the only reason she was doing the video was because she wanted to show people what they can get if they put their mind to something.
Kerry, who has earned a tidy sum from her OnlyFans, was then quick to preempt the negative reaction she may receive, insisting that the post ‘wasn’t about bragging’ but to show how far she’s come.
She said: ‘You’ve all watched my story and seen me at my lowest where I could’ve died and should’ve died. I took loads of drugs… I can’t believe I’m alive.
‘You can go on about me taking my clothes off but who gives a flying f**k look what’s on my drive. My kids are at private school.
‘I’ve got my own dating app, fitness app, clothing range, I’m a Creative Director at Thrillz, I do TV work and I’ve got my own column.’
She also spoke about how she became a millionaire from the adult subscription site OnlyFans, revealing that she earned tens of thousands of pounds a month.

Panning the camera over her new car, Kerry – a mother of five – added: ‘How lucky am I to have two cars like this. I’ve worked really, really hard and I’ve been bankrupt twice but I’ve grafted by a**e off.
‘I’ve worked hard for this. I’m not bragging, listen to what I’m saying.’
The I’m A Celebrity star went on to reference the challenges she’s faced, including bankruptcies, failed relationships, a troubled upbringing, and drug addiction. She emphasised how her fans have witnessed her at her ‘lowest’.
Reflecting on her humble beginnings, Kerry said: ‘We had no Christmas presents, no furniture, but then the refuge dropped off a bag of second-hand stuff and I was eternally grateful.
She added: ‘Now look what we’ve received’.
In an empowering message to her followers, Kerry concluded: ‘I keep fighting for another day and all I’m trying to do is encourage other people out there that if I can do it, anyone can do it! Believe in yourself and surround yourself with good people.’
