Kmart Australia has released another designer ‘dupe’ that’s got fashion-forward shoppers excited – and it’s only $6.
The budget-friendly Interlink Necklace looks similar to an $1,100 piece by Dior.
The retailer’s thick gold tone chain features an interlink-shaped pendant, along with a lobster clasp closure.
Dior’s luxury 30 Montaigne Short Necklace is made in Europe, featuring shiny gold-finish metal and showcasing the CD signature, which stands for Christian Dior.
Kmart fans were struck by the similarities, and one shopper posted: ‘I already bought it (Kmart’s necklace) and received many compliments.’
‘Kmart is in their dupe era! Look at this $6 necklace I found today – it’s another Christian Dior dupe and it’s so nice,’ another raved.
‘Love that dupes are a thing. Sincerely, a broke millennial,’ one said.
‘The necklace looks beautiful,’ another added.

Many pointed out the budget version is a great, affordable alternative, especially for those who can’t justify spending more than $1,000 on jewellery.

‘I can’t afford the real deal,’ another added, laughing.

‘Need,’ one said, along with a heart emoji.
However, not everyone was impressed with the new statement piece, as some ‘can’t unsee’ the soft drink pull tab.
‘I don’t love this,’ said one woman.
‘It looks like a trash can,’ another pointed out.
‘Looks like a drink can ring pull,’ one joked.
‘All I can see is a ring pull off a soft drink can. However the chain itself is gorgeous,’ another added.
