Kmart shopper leaves internet in hysterics over ‘unbelievable’ find in delivery order: ‘This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen’

A shopper has left hundreds in hysterics after sharing what she found inside her Kmart delivery order. 

Mum Ella ordered a variety of products – including suspension files, ribbon, a wooden storage box, mindfulness stacking stones and a hula hoop. 

But when the package arrive on her doorstep, she was shocked to find the $5 hula hoop had been bent out of shape to fit into the cardboard box. 

Sharing an image to a popular Facebook group, the striped product had been folded and was no longer usable. 

‘Something for a Saturday night laugh! Ordered a hula hoop for my children at work and this is how it arrived,’ Ella wrote. 

Luckily she gave the Kmart worker the benefit of the doubt and said: ‘Maybe the poor packing person was having a hard day.’ 

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Kmart for a comment.

The situation not only left Ella in hysterics but others also had a laugh after seeing the photo. 

‘Omg this is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen!’ one wrote, Another said: ‘Love that you’re having a laugh as much as it is frustrating.’

‘I’ve never laughed so hard at a post before,’ a third added. 

Another wrote: ‘If you don’t laugh, you will cry.’ 

One shopper also claimed the ‘same thing happened’ to her ‘a few years ago’.

‘Does it still function like a hula hoop?’ one person asked, and Ella replied: ‘Unfortunately I was not able to bend it back into shape – wasn’t even remotely round’.

‘Hope you sent them this pic and got your money back,’ another said.

Meanwhile others weren’t impressed and would’ve been disappointed if they received the same delivery.

‘Common sense doesn’t grow in everyone’s garden….this just proves it,’ one claimed.

Another wrote: ‘Kmart should honestly just remove their delivery option.’

A Kmart spokesperson told 7Life: ‘At Kmart, we want everyone visiting us in-store or online to have an enjoyable shopping experience and we are disappointed to learn that on this occasion it did not occur.

‘We wish to the thank the customer for bringing this to our attention so that we can work on improving these processes in the future.

‘We encourage any customer who experiences an issue with their online order to reach out to our customer service team.’
