Back in April, Meyer, who’s best known for penning the script for the 2021 film Moxie, shared some sweet sentiments for Stewart’s 32nd birthday.
‘Another one around the sun and you’re out here getting flyer every year,’ Meyer gushed in the caption of a photo showing the lovebirds sharing a kiss as the birthday cake was being presented. ‘Time looks good on you, dude. Ya know, as they say in the toons, “awooga.”‘
Most recently, on the career front, Stewart has been working on he film adaption of Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir The Chronology Of Water, which became a New York Times best-seller list after its 2010 release.
As per Deadline, the memoir is a ‘lyrical journey through a life saved by art,’ and centers on a young woman who ‘finds her voice through the written word and her salvation as a swimmer – ultimately becoming a triumphant teacher, mother, and a singular modern writer.

In the works for more than five years, the upcoming film has been a passion project of sorts for the actress turned filmmaker.
So far, there’s no official word on when the film will make its premiere.
Stewart’s appearance came just a week after it was announced she would direct three music videos for Phoebe Bridgers’ band, Boygenius.
She is set to helm three clips for the much-talked about band comprised of Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus, according to their Rolling Stone cover story.
The trio of indie-rock royalty are set to release their debut full-length album – titled The Record – and have recently put out three new tracks from it titled $20, Emily I’m Sorry, and True Blue.
Kristen is no stranger to directing music videos as she started by doing the 2014 music video for Sage + The Saints track Take Me To The South.
She also did the 2017 music video for Scottish pop band Chvrches for their track Down Side Of Me.
She will also be making her feature-length directorial debut with the adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch memoir The Chronology Of Water starring Imogen Poots.
