Leni Klum got her week started on Monday afternoon by heading out for lunch with a friend. 

The 18-year-old model and daughter of Heidi Klum was spotted out in New York City for the lunch outing.

She rocked a casually stylish look as she headed out in the Big Apple with her friend.

Leni stepped out with a black top under a black denim coat, with her hair pulled back into a messy bun.

She had a small black Chanel purse draped from her shoulder while also rocking blue wide-legged Carhartt pants and holding her phone.

The model completed her look with vintage white Reebok sneakers and accessorized with diamond-studded earrings.

The outing comes just weeks after Leni defended a controversial lingerie shoot with her 49-year-old supermodel mom Heidi Klum.

While some called the photo shoot for Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi inappropriate, including Howard Stern who said it was, ‘so f**king’ out of line’ and ‘so inappropriate.’

Leni revealed, ‘I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions. I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom.’

She recently moved to New York City from her home in Los Angeles further her modeling career and study interior design in college.

She opened up about her studies in an interview with People, where she revealed when she first wanted to study interior design. 

‘My mom’s house actually sparked my interest; I always talk about redoing it,’ Leni said in the interview.

‘I’m more a minimalist — a few pieces here and there that stand out — but we have completely different tastes. She’s a maximalist, with fashion too,’ Leni added.

She added, ‘in the future, I’d love to be on Fixer Upper. I’m obsessed with that show.’

Leni also recently celebrated her three year anniversary with boyfriend Aris Rachevsky.
