Lily Phillips heartbroken parents broke down in tears discussing their notorious daughter’s adult career on a BBC documentary – and told how they would sell their house if it stopped her taking part in adult content.
The 28-year-old adult content star, from Derbyshire, who has made a name and a living on the controversial subscription site, appeared in a raw and emotional episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, where she was joined by her parents for their regular Sunday catch-up.
The BBC journalist guided the family through a brutally honest conversation about Lily’s job, prompting a flood of emotions and painful admissions from Lily’s parents.
In the candid chat, Lily’s father Lindsay, 59, admitted: ‘We’ve known for years she’s done OnlyFans and I thought it was just posing in swimwear and lingerie.’
Her mother Emma added: ”When she said she was doing OnlyFans, we stood back because we want to continue our relationship with our daughter. We were pretty open with it, but when it went to the next step, we were like ‘no, no’.’
Lily, clearly overwhelmed, tried to hold her composure, but the pain on her parents’ faces as they opened up about their feelings proved too much as she sobbed.
Her father added: ‘If there’s anything we could do to change her profession, we’d do it overnight … It’s the ‘degradingness’ of it and making sure that she’s safe.
‘Sometimes we think have we done anything wrong with her upbringing, well as far as I’m concerned we’ve had nothing but nice times and love … Is it money? Because if it was money, we’d sell our house. You could have everything you want Lily if you gave it all up now.’

Despite the emotional confrontation, Lily told Stacey: ‘I understand and respect how they feel and that’s that.’

But despite being afforded these privileges and opportunities, Lily’s life has taken a radically different course to the one her family planned for her: this week Liiy has become a subject of international notoriety as a pornographic model who had sex with 100 men in 24 hours.
And, if this were not tawdry enough, she has even boasted of plans to break the ‘world record’ next month and have sex with 1,000 in the same period of time. And she has reportedly earned £2million after using her controversial films to build an audience of 36,000 paying subscribers on the seedy OnlyFans platform.
So how did she make this strange and, to many, disturbing transformation from ordinary girl to figure of notoriety?
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, she said: ‘I didn’t get into OnlyFans because I was desperate for money. My parents loved to spoil us, I had a very comfortable, happy life. It was the picture-perfect childhood and I had amazing parents.’
Her early life is in stark contrast to the world in which she now finds herself and the notoriety she has generated.
She was brought up in a stylish, semi-detached home in the village of Denby, Derbyshire, set amongst rolling hills and just a stone’s throw from the world famous Denby Pottery factory.
Each year, the family would head off for a skiing holiday in the winter followed by a luxurious summer break with Lily describing her upbringing as ‘perfect.’
Other trappings of luxury included an Audi TT and Porsche 911, which Lindsay drove while her mother Emma, who worked as an estate agent, zipped around in a Range Rover.
She would be ferried in the expensive vehicles to a local climbing centre and sports clubs where she enjoyed netball and cricket.

The family have now moved from the house where Lily was raised but one former neighbour told MailOnline: ‘They were a lovely family, very friendly and hard working. You could tell that they had a bit of money because they had flash cars on the drive and nice holidays, but they weren’t big headed about it.
‘Lindsay was just a working-class man made good and we were all happy for him. He had a strong work ethic and made good money.’
Lily’s older brother attended private school and she was also given the option to benefit from a top-class private education but declined.
She said: ‘I always thought that private school kids were a bit weird. And I was not that smart and thought that I would be bottom of the class, so I told my parents that I didn’t want to go.’
Lily attended the local John Flamsteed Community School where she gained five GCSEs and was described as a popular girl who had a close circle of friends.
One former pupil said: ‘Lily had a lovely, comfortable life and was a great girl and some of us were very envious of her. She was good fun, had lots of friends and didn’t have any money worries because her parents were rich.
‘Her OnlyFans work has shocked us quite a lot of us because we don’t understand why she’s doing it.’
It was after leaving school and going to Sheffield University to study Nutrition that things took a dramatic turn.
She admits that she started ‘sleeping around’ which prompted her to launch her OnlyFans feed in 2020, when she was not able to attend any lectures because of the pandemic.
She made £2,000 in the first month, giving her a taste for more.
She said: ‘I was sort of selling sex to guys on my nights out without making any money, so I thought I might as well charge for it.’
She added: ‘I was at university and already being such a ‘sluzza’so I thought, why don’t I try OnlyFans and make a bit of money on the side?’
Lily’s mother is responsible for handling her finances and help establish a property portfolio with her substantial earnings, said to be at six figures per month.
Lily currently lives in an exclusive area of west London, has already purchased a house in Derby and said that she is currently looking at properties valued at around £1.5 million.
Last year, Lindsay sold his cleaning company and spends his retirement with his wife travelling the world and living in a camper van in the Derbyshire countryside.
But even though they have remained tight lipped about their daughter, Lily recently suggested in a podcast that her mother was responsible for her obsession with sex at such a young age and made other comments about her sexual practices too explicit to report.
Lily also admitted to MailOnline that despite her ‘picture perfect’ childhood she had developed something of a fascination with sex as a young teenager and watched her first porn film at the age of 13.
She said: ‘I don’t know why but I’ve been obsessed with sex from a young age. I was always more into sex than my friends and was always talking about it at school.’
Despite the criticism, Lily insists that she feels ’empowered’ and ‘happy.’
She said: ‘Honestly, it’s changed my life. How I feel about myself, my confidence. I am 23-year-old woman who pays my own rent and earns good money. I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved – I’m a feminist, 100 per cent,’
