Lola Young collapses on stage at music festival

Lola Young collapsed while on stage at a music festival in New York City.

The 24-year-old songstress was reportedly performing her hit “Conceited” at the All Things Go Music Festival, held at Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday, when she suffered the incident.

According to People, a medical team carried the hitmaker off stage while the audience supportively cheered.

Reps for the singer and the festival did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment following the incident.

Young had previously canceled a Friday performance scheduled at Audacy’s We Can Survive show — per TMZ, the singer’s manager, Nick Shymansky, took to Instagram Stories to say that she made the move “due to a sensitive matter.”

Per the outlet, Shymansky added, “Lola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe.”

“She is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused,” he concluded the message.

The “Messy” singer has been open about her struggles with mental health and addiction issues — she was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder at the age of 17.

In an interview in August, the pop star hinted at facing personal struggles while touring.

“It’s been a struggle – I’ve definitely had to work on some internal healing while grappling with touring and stuff,” she told the Guardian. “I’ve had to be away for a bit while battling with things,” she continued.

“But it teaches you a lot, being addicted to substances. It makes you more empathetic about other people that have gone through that. It’s just a constant journey.”

In March, she shared details of how she was managing her ADHD, as well.

“Six months ago I started taking Concerta and it has genuinely changed my life, my thought processing and it’s changed how I see mess and I can clear up, I feel genuinely a lot happier,” she said at the time, per the Daily Mail.

She added, “We should make sure physical health and mental health are viewed on par.”
