US hip-hop legend 50 Cent was all smiles on Saturday as he jetted out of Sydney.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has been Down Under shooting scenes for the anticipated Street Fighter reboot.

The In Da Club hitmaker, 50, cut a casual figure for his long-haul flight, stepping out in a light-grey sleeveless puffer jacket.

He wore it over a crisp white hoodie that featured a black, graffiti-style print emblazoned across the front.

Curtis also wore a pair of light khaki pants as well as a pair of white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.

He completed his cool, casual look with a white skullcap that he wore underneath a dark blue New York Yankees baseball cap.

The rapper accessorised with a pair of earbuds and his mobile phone, which he appeared glued to as he made his way through the terminal.

Flanked by a burly assistant, Curtis was seen beaming as he prepared to board his flight, possibly eager to get back on home soil.

He certainly appeared to be in a good mood, with Curtis happily stopping to chat to a fan as he made his way to a waiting car.

The fan, clad in an Eminem singlet appeared genuinely chuffed to be in the company of the hip-hop legend.

And the feeling appeared mutual, too, with Curtis stopping to engage the fan in conversation before moving on.

Curtis is set to tear up the screen as Balrog in the upcoming Street Fighter reboot.

Based on the iconic Capcom video game series, the film will see Curtis star alongside the likes of Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Orville Peck and Eric André.

As well as selling an eye-watering 30 million albums globally, the rapper is also a dab hand in front of the camera.

He boasts an extensive filmography, including the 2006 semi-autobiographical film – Get Rich or Die Tryin’, and a prominent role in the lauded Starz series Power, on which he is also an executive producer.

It comes after Curtis was slammed on Instagram after he made fun of music producer Irv Gotti’s death.

The rapper, who has been caught up in a bitter feud with Gotti for over 20 years, posted a tasteless tribute to the entertainment executive after he died aged 54.

He shared a photo in February of himself smoking a hookah while seated on a couch next to a tombstone that read ‘RIP’.

‘I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack,’ the rapper wrote, adding, ‘nah God bless him LOL.’

He also shared a photo of Gotti, born Irving Lorenzo Jr., in the post, making it clear he was indeed referring to the late Murder Inc. co-founder.

Some Instagram users were not pleased about the post, as one wrote: ‘There is a special place in hell for you!! The fact that you came so close to facing death yourself & you still have this mindset is beyond me!’

The social media user was seemingly referring to when 50 had been shot nine times by a gunman outside his grandmother’s former home in South Jamaica, New York, back in May 2000.

Another wrote: ‘Only a devil would mock death… every soul will die.’

A third said: ‘One thing about Cancers [referring to his star sign], they will sit & wait on the ultimate petty card.

‘Very very very low. BUT Be careful how you treat people history doesn’t delete itself’

Fellow rapper Bobby Shmurda replied: ‘Yo, this thing is crazy, son.’
