Melania Trump’s candid advice to husband President Donald Trump has resurfaced amidst reports that Howard Stern will reportedly not be returning to his SiriusXM show this Tuesday.
Stern had previously promised that he would be returning on Tuesday, after Labor Day.
The 71-year-old shock jock announced he would not return in an email penned to his 95 employees on Monday night, which came ‘out of the blue’ but was carefully worded in order not to panic staffers.
A source told the Daily Mail that Howard’s decision was a result of ‘frustrations over the new contract’ he’s been negotiating with the satellite/online radio company.
Stern’s mammoth $500 million, five-year contract with SiriusXM expires at the end of this year, which would end his 20-year run since he moved to the channel in 2006.
And now, it looks like The First Lady could have been onto something, as resurfaced video from a 2016 interview shows her admitting that she urged Trump not to participate in interviews with Stern and Billy Bush.
‘He cares about people, he cares about women, he’s not the man that we heard him on the tape,’ Melania said in the interview with Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends at the time.
The interview came as Trump was under fire for his hot mic comments bragging to Billy Bush about his attempt to have sex with a married woman, which were released by The Washington Post in 2016.

And now, it looks like The First Lady could have been onto something, as resurfaced video from a 2016 interview shows her admitting that she urged Trump not to participate in interviews with Stern and Billy Bush
‘He cares about people, he cares about women, he’s not the man that we heard him on the tape,’ Melania said in the interview with Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends at the time
‘Grab them by the p***y,’ Trump could be heard saying in the infamous hit mic moment.
But during the interview with Earhardt, Melania maintained that she had told him not to do interviews with Bush or Stern.
‘Many times, I gave him advice, and I didn’t agree to do all the tapes on Howard Stern with Billy Bush, because I know those people, they hook him on,’ Melania said at the time.
‘They try to get from him some inappropriate and dirty language,’ she added.
In the past, Trump had made some lewd comments while talking to Stern on his radio show, CNN revealed.
According to the outlet, in an October 2006 interview, Stern said that Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, was looking very ‘voluptuous.’
She would have been around 25 years old at the time.
In response, Trump said about his daughter, ‘She’s actually always been very voluptuous.’
But during the interview with Earhardt, Melania maintained that she had told him not to do interviews with Bush or Stern

In a 1997 interview with the radio host, they spoke about having sex with women who are on their periods.
‘Well, I’ve been there. I have been there Howard, as we all have,’ Trump said at the time.
‘You don’t like it?’ Stern asked in response.
‘Well, sometimes you get there by mistake,’ Trump said.
Back in August, Trump gave his take on why the longtime radio show host may be facing cancellation.
‘Howard Stern is a name I haven’t heard – I used to do his show, we used to have fun – but I haven’t heard that name in a long time,’ Trump told reporters in the Oval Office about his 20 appearances on the show, including one infamous episode with daughter Ivanka.
‘What happened he got terminated?’ the president asked.
While Stern had not been ‘terminated,’ it didn’t stop Trump giving his opinion on when things turned back for the shock jock.
‘You know when he went down? You know when he went down? ‘When he endorsed Hillary Clinton, he lost his audience. People said, ‘get me a break.’ He went down when he endorsed Hillary Clinton.’Clinton was Trump’s 2016 opponent.’
Stern also had Trump’s 2024 rival, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, on his show last year.
