Michelle Obama and husband Barack Obama have both professed their love in sweet tributes on their 33rd wedding anniversary.
The couple, whose marriage has been subjected to rift rumors all year, delighted in voicing their adoration for one another on their special day.
Both Michelle, 61, and Barrack, 64, uploaded the same adorable selfie to Instagram in which they exuded happiness as they posed cheek to cheek.
In her caption, Michelle said: ‘We’ve been on quite the journey over the last 33 years—and yet, I love you even more today than the day we said “I do.”
‘Happy anniversary, @BarackObama! I’m so lucky to go through life with you.’
Meanwhile, Barack praised his wife’s ‘strength’ and ‘grace.’
‘The best decision I ever made was marrying you, @MichelleObama,’ he penned.
‘For 33 years, I’ve admired your strength, grace, and determination — and the fact that you look so good doing it all. Happy anniversary!’

The couple tied the knot in 1992 and went on to welcome daughters Malia and Sasha
Michelle married the former president in 1992 and the couple share two daughters, Malia, 27, and Sasha, 24, who live in Los Angeles.
Over the past few months, the couple have faced ongoing speculation about their marriage status.
The rumor mill swirled after her decision to skip both Jimmy Carter’s funeral and Donald Trump’s inauguration – with Michelle insisting they were decisions she made for herself.
Her absence at the high-profile political events stoked divorce rumors, as did President Obama’s admission in April that he was in a ‘deep deficit’ with his wife.
In July, they addressed divorce rumors on the podcast.
‘There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting my man,’ Michelle said passionately about Barack.
She continued: ‘And we’ve had some really hard times. So, we had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures, and I have become a better person because of the man I’m married to.’
Earlier this week, Michelle spoke candidly about Barack’s annoying eating habit that makes her want to ‘smack’ him.

In her tribute, Michelle said: ‘We’ve been on quite the journey over the last 33 years—and yet, I love you even more today than the day we said “I Do”‘

The former president and first lady tied the knot at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago on October 3, 1992
On Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson. the brother and sister duo welcomed psychoanalyst Dr Orna Guralnik as their guest.
The three of them spoke about relationships and marriage, as Michelle began to reflect on her life with Barack in Washington, DC.
‘We always have the kids to talk about, but not on a day-to-day basis,’ Michelle said during the episode.
‘We’ve noticed how much of our time we’ve spent talking about them, right? So now that we’re empty nesters, it’s like, ‘Well, what are we going to talk about?”
‘So, we’re together all day,’ she explained of her and her husband, as she shared that she doesn’t ask him about his day until dinnertime.
However, her brother, Craig, disagreed, as he said that there was ‘always something to talk about.’
Dr Orna offered: ‘There’s a way to be next to another person, even in silence, that can be very alive.’
The doctor then asked Michelle to challenge herself and go into what she is really thinking as she’s seated across from Barack at the dinner table.
‘Because how many times does somebody ask, ‘What are you thinking about?’ And you’re like, ‘Well, let me make up a thing,” Michelle said.
She continued: ‘Because I don’t actually want to tell you what I was thinking about, which is like, ‘The way you’re chewing makes me want to smack you upside the head.”
