Will Campbell of the New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have been without Will Campbell for the past four weeks after the starting left tackle was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.
However, he has remained around the team, and it is clear he has been doing everything he can to return. So, now that he’s eligible to begin practicing ahead of the Patriots’ Week 18 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, will he?
“I think he will,” head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters on Monday morning.
Campbell traveled with the team for their last two games in Baltimore and New York, and Vrabel actually revealed that the left tackle decided to do so.
“Will cares deeply about this team and the players on it. That was his decision,” Vrabel explained.
Mike Vrabel Provides Update On Mack Hollins Injury

On Monday morning, Vrabel confirmed that wide receiver Mack Hollins’ abdomen injury occurred during the team’s primetime win over the Baltimore Ravens. And with that, the team placed him on injured reserve, meaning he would be sidelined for at least two playoff games.
However, if the situation warrants it, could Vrabel see Hollins returning?
“We won’t be able to see him for another three weeks, so at that point in time, then we would make a decision, and I hope that’s one that we could make,” the head coach said. “But right now, I don’t think I can predict anything.”
The earliest Hollins can return is the AFC Championship game if New England makes it past the wild card round and the divisional round. There is also still a possibility that the Patriots earn a first-round bye if they defeat Miami this weekend while the Denver Broncos fall to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Hollins finishes the regular season with 46 catches for 550 yards and two touchdowns. However, with him sidelined along with Kayshon Boutte missing Sunday’s game, rookie Efton Chism was given a bigger opportunity and took advantage of it, finishing with two receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown.

Mike Vrabel revealed that he received a nice gift from the offensive lineman for Christmas.
“I got a T-shirt from the offensive line that was nice. It had me and my little buddy Will (Campbell) in a BabyBjörn,” Vrabel said on WEEI Monday morning. “It was cute.”
However, a photo of the shirt has yet to be shown publicly.
“He would kill me,” Vrabel added. “I’ve debated putting it on social media since Thursday, since I got it, but he would kill me.”
