Millie Bobby Brown is addressing the elephant in the room.
The “Stranger Things” actress opened up about the state of her relationship with David Harbour following a bombshell report that he bullied her on the set of the hit Netflix show.
“We’ve been doing that for the last 10 years,” Brown, 21, told the Hollywood Reporter when asked why it’s so important for the co-stars to show a united front amid the accusations.
“I mean, we have always been united in that,” she added. “We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything.”
The pair made headlines earlier this month following reports that the “Enola Holmes” star allegedly filed a bullying and harassment claim against Harbour, 50, before filming Season 5 of “Stranger Things” in early 2024.
“There were pages and pages of accusations,” an insider told the Daily Mail, although they clarified that the “Black Widow” star had not been accused of any sexual impropriety. “The investigation went on for months.”
Sources also claimed that Brown was allegedly accompanied to the set by a rep while shooting the Netflix series’ finale – but executive producer Shawn Levy later told THR that he had seen some “wildly inaccurate” reports regarding the scandal.
“You have to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe,” he noted. “So we did everything to build that environment, and we’re proud of the fact that we did so.”
Brown, meanwhile, acknowledged that it was “so nice” and “really exciting” to “come back together” with Harbour for the latest season of “Stranger Things.”
The first four episodes of the fifth and final season were released on Netflix Thursday night, and they saw Brown and Harbour’s characters spending more time together after reuniting at the end of Season 4.
“It was quite nostalgic because it reminded me so much of Season 2 and 3, where we’re both kind of butting heads and she’s growing up, she’s trying to find her own voice and he’s trying to parent, and that dynamic definitely comes back into play once again, and I’m really excited for people to see that,” the “Electric State” star explained.
“I think some of people’s favorite scenes of Eleven are El and [Hopper], so I’m really excited to have that come to screen once again,” she added.
Brown and Harbour previously put on a united front when Season 5 of “Stranger Things” premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Nov. 6.
The actress, who recently adopted a baby girl with husband Jake Bongiovi, told Extra that she and Harbour were “so lucky to have each other” and called their reunion “amazing.”
“The show means so much to both of us and to everyone here. This has, like, been the last 10 years of our lives,” she gushed at the time.
“So, we’ve dedicated a lot of it, and we’re so excited to see that come to screen,” Brown concluded.
However, a body language expert called the pair’s friendly red carpet interactions “overkill.”
