Milo Ventimiglia and wife Jarah Mariano are set to welcome their second child.
Mariano took to Instagram on Saturday with a photo of herself hoisting their daughter Ke’ala Coral into the air while celebrating the infant’s first birthday.
Mariano, 42, modeled a string bikini and a sunhat in the snapshot, showing off a growing baby bump while nuzzling her little one.
She stood in the water in a tropical locale, and covered Ke’ala’s face with a heart emoji.
“Happy 1 year baby girl,” she wrote. “When you came into my life I had 2 distinct thoughts, one immediately after the other – I would die for you in a heartbeat, but now I also have to live as long as I possibly can to be around to make sure you’re safe.”
She added, “This is the most unique love I’ve ever experienced, just as unique of a soul you are. In a world with so much fear and hatred, I know that you will bring your radiating light everywhere you go to make it a better and brighter place for those around you. I love you Ke’ala Coral, forever x Mama.”
Fans in the comments thread gushed over the news, with one writing, “Wow congrats to you guys!!! How beautiful and special!” and another adding, “She will be a great big sister❤️”
The “This is Us” star’s announcement comes a year after the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue model announced the arrival of their first child in an emotional social media post — shortly after losing their home in the devastating Palisades fire in Los Angeles.
“Welcome back Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia 🌈 1.23.25,” the model wrote, alongside a pic of their baby’s tiny feet.
She added, “Jan 7th my family & I evacuated from the Palisades Fire. We lost our home that we were living in & everything we own, as well as our home under construction that we were about to move into. I was 38 weeks pregnant & I had done an evacuation only a few weeks prior during the Franklin Fire as well.”
Mariano wrote that she “take[s] it as a gift that [she] was able to essentially do a practice run for what was inevitably to come. I’m also forever grateful that we were able to evacuate from the Palisades Fire in the daytime, when we could feel more prepared & not caught completely off guard in the middle of the night, for example.”
She noted in the lengthy post that the family was “together, happy, healthy & safe, which is truly all that matters.”
“Gilmore Girls” alum, 48, secretly married the model in September 2023, and the couple announced they were expecting their first child a year later.
“Baby on board!” Mariano captioned a pair of photos of her baby bump as she sat on a surfboard.
