Joining the Morrisons' Christmas range is the £4.00 Christmas Pudding Mulled Wine, perfect for end of year get-togethers and festive soirees

Morrisons has launched its range of festive tipples ahead of the Christmas season today, featuring brand-new bottles and returning fan favourites.

Now available online and in stores nationwide, customers can indulge in a tempting variety of seasonal wine, spritz and amaretto, with prices starting from just £3.50.

The first-to-market in the UK, the British supermarket chain has unveiled its new Mulled Amaretto, which retails at £6.00 and is available in-store only.

Inspired by a new trend sweeping across Christmas markets in Germany, the sweet and warming tipple contains subtle notes of almonds.

Joining Morrisons’ Mulled Amaretto is the £7.00 Gluhwein, another Christmas market favourite available from November that can be enjoyed in the comfort of customers’ own home.

For those with a sweet tooth who prefer a touch a fizz, Morrisons’ Spiced Almond and Cherry Spritz, available for £4.00, isn’t one to be missed.

The light, bubbly tipple contains notes of cinnamon, marzipan and cherry fruits – and according to the retailer, it tastes just like a Bakewell Tart.

A second fruity addition joining the Christmas range is Morrisons’ Peach & Passionfruit Bellini – a twist on the classic Italian cocktail with the addition of juicy passion fruit, available for £3.50.

Two festive favourites will be returning to shelves this year, including Morrisons’ Winter Warmer Mulled Wine, available for £3.99.

The new-and-improved recipe contains classic flavours of rich fruits with notes of cinnamon.

Meanwhile, Morrisons is bringing back its long-awaited Gingerbread Mulled Wine, available for £3.99, which contains sweet and buttery notes alongside the heat of ginger.

The fresh recipe has been hand-crafted by Morrisons wine experts, and the bottles are sure crowd-pleasers.
