3 best Netflix shows to watch (and 2 to skip) this weekend, March 17

Happy St. Patrick’s Day weekend! Netflix Life has a great list of Irish movies to enjoy this weekend. And we have some recommendations of great Netflix shows and two you can skip. Don’t miss all the great new releases this week, including the highly anticipated season 2 of Shadow and Bone, Money Shot: The Pornhub Story, and The Magician’s Elephant.

This week, it is no surprise that Shadow and Bone is sitting in the number one spot on Netflix’s Top 10 TV shows list, followed by You, The Glory, Outer Banks, and Outlast. All of these series had fans counting down to the new season’s premiere, save Outlast, which is new.

If you are interested in some great movies, Netflix has you covered there as well.

Best Netflix shows to watch this weekend, March 17

Check out our recommendations for Netflix shows this weekend and the two you can skip.

Shadow and Bone season 2

WATCH! You don’t want to miss the next installment of Shadow and Bone. Season 1 left fans with a major cliffhanger, and season 2 will pick up at that point. Back is the exciting world of Grisha, the band of thieving Crows, and as seen in the season finale, the Darkling lives. Don’t miss this one!

Agent Elvis season 1

SKIP! Agent Elvis is an animated, raunchy comedy featuring the King of Rock and Roll as a performer by day and a vigilante and spy by night. Elvis’s ex-wife Priscilla Presley is behind the creation of the series, with Matthew McConaughey voicing Elvis. It just sounds too corny to be worthy of the King.

Dance 100 season 1

WATCH! Dance 100 is Netflix’s foray into the street dance competition series. Eight dancers compete to find out who will be the next big choreographer while vying for the $100,000 grand prize. Hosted by fitness instructor Ally Love, the series highlights the contestants’ talents who must choreograph, teach, and perform next-level routines to impress the judges, who — surprise — are their own dancers. Sounds like a fun twist on the dance competition series.

Maestro in Blue season 1

SKIP! The new release Maestro in Blue, is a mystery series that sounds like a story we’ve already watched. A musician goes to a scenic island where he finds unexpected romance and becomes entwined in other people’s issues. While it may be entertaining, add it to the queue for another weekend.

The Glory part 2

WATCH! The Korean series The Glory is the latest revenge series you don’t want to miss. Part 2 of season 1 was released on March 10, and fans are loving it. The story follows one woman who, after suffering horrific abuse in high school, seeks revenge on the bullies who tormented her, making them pay for their crimes.
