We’re less than three full weeks into 2026, and Netflix has already rolled out three new mystery shows with incredible twists that you’ll never see coming.
If you add Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery to that bunch — which was released on Dec. 12, 2025 — there are so many good mysteries to watch on Netflix.
Let’s get the list started with the most recently released of the new Netflix mystery shows, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials.

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials
Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials premiered on Netflix on Thursday, Jan. 15, and it’s a fun new mystery that all fans of the genre need to watch. It’s more of a whodunnit than some of the more recent Netflix mysteries, but it’s also very Agatha Christie, and I mean that in a good way.
The series was created by Chris Chibnall, and it tells the story of The Seven Dials Mystery by Christie, while also combining some elements from The Secret of Chimneys. Seven Dials has an absolutely stacked cast, including Mia McKenna-Bruce, Corey Mylchreest, Helena Bonham Carter, Edward Bluemel, Nyasha Hatendi, Martin Freeman, and more.
I don’t want to give too much away, but Seven Dials is set in 1925 and tells the story of Bundle, played by McKenna-Bruce, who tries to solve the murder of a dear friend at an estate in the English countryside.
Seven Dials is only three episodes, so you can literally binge-watch this series in one night before diving into the other new Netflix mysteries.

His & Hers
His & Hers is officially on the way to becoming the biggest Netflix shows of the year so far! Obviously, we can’t count Stranger Things, but fans are tuning in for His & Hers, a new mystery starring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson.
The new series premiered on Jan. 8. His & Hers is based on a book of the same name by Alice Feeney. The story follows Detective Jack Harper, played by Bernthal, trying to solve the murder of a woman in a small Georgia town. When a hotshot reporter, Anna, played by Thompson, hears of a murder in her hometown, she convinces her boss to let her report on the story and get to the bottom of this mystery.
And, speaking of good casts, Marin Ireland, Pablo Schreiber, Sunita Mani, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Crystal Fox, Chris Bauer, and Poppy Liu also star in the series.
You will never see the twist coming in this one! That’s not a spoiler. It’s just a fact.

Run Away
Harlan Coben’s latest Netflix mystery certainly deserves a spot on the list. For the third year in a row, Netflix kicked off New Year’s Day with a new series from Coben, and Run Away doesn’t disappoint.
Run Away follows a father, Simon Greene (James Nesbitt), in his unrelenting search to find his missing daughter, Paige (Ellie de Lange), but it’s not a simple missing persons case. Paige is involved in something much deeper and darker. When young men keep turning up dead around Northern England, where the show is set, the police and others start to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
As with all of Coben’s Netflix shows, Run Away comes together in the final episode with a truly jaw-dropping conclusion.
Run Away also has a really good cast. Nesbitt has been in several of Coben’s shows already, including Missing You and Stay Close. Alfred Enoch, who starred in the Harry Potter movies, also plays a main character in the series. Along with de Lange, Nesbitt, and Enoch, you’ll find Minnie Driver, Ruth Jones, Ingrid Oliver, Amy Gledhill, Jon Pointing, Maeve Courtier-Lilley, Annette Badland, and more.
Run Away is the show that knocked Stranger Things out of the No. 1 spot on the Netflix Top 10, so you know it’s going to be a good!
So, those are three new mystery shows to watch on Netflix right now. If you need a new mystery to watch, these three shows — Run Away, His & Hers, and Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials — are a great place to start!
