Squid Game season 1

You know that feeling when you start a show on Netflix, and suddenly the world disappears? One episode turns into two, then three, and before you realize it, it’s way past midnight and you’re still glued to the screen. Honestly, some shows just have that irresistible pull.

The characters feel alive, the story twists in ways you never saw coming, and every cliffhanger makes your “just one more episode” promise harder and harder to keep. In this article, we’ve put together a list of four addictive Netflix shows that are simply impossible to stop watching after the first episode. Don’t forget to add them to your watchlist and check them out!

Beef season 1

Beef

If there’s one Netflix show that truly lived up to its name, it’s Beef. It’s a darkly funny, deeply human, and really intense series that turned a simple road‑rage incident into television gold. Most of us have run into our own experiences with people who push us just a little too far, but Beef takes that universal frustration and cranks it up to eleven.

It all begins when down-on-his-luck contractor Danny Cho gets into a minor altercation in the parking lot of a home improvement store with successful businesswoman Amy Lau. This incident then turns into a full-blown chase across the city of Los Angeles. Oh, but it doesn’t stop there. The two eventually go their separate ways, but the encounter leaves a lingering tension neither of them can shake. What then began as a fleeting clash quickly spirals into an all-consuming feud that seeps into their personal and professional lives.

A Beef season 2 is confirmed and slated for release on Netflix on April 16, 2026. However, it will tell an entirely new story and follow new characters.

Stranger Things season 5

Stranger Things

Stranger Things is the perfect example of a Netflix show you won’t be able to stop yourself from binge-watching, but you probably knew that already. I mean, it’s one of Netflix’s biggest shows of all time. Now that all five seasons of the sci-fi series are available to stream, there’s never been a better time to dive in!

So, what is Stranger Things about? Well, it starts off with the disappearance of a young Will Byers in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. But what seems like a simple missing-person case quickly turns into a chilling mystery as his friends uncover a secret government lab, a dark parallel dimension known as the Upside Down, and strange creatures that defy imagination.

The original Stranger Things series is completely finished. However, an animated spinoff is coming to Netflix soon. It’s titled Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, and it will be released on April 23, 2026.

All of Us Are Dead season 1

All of Us Are Dead

Most people immediately think of The Walking Dead when it comes to zombie series, but Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead proves that the genre can still totally consume your attention in new ways. Instead of following adult survivors in a post-apocalyptic world, this show drops you right into the chaos of high school life gone horribly wrong.

We all have to go to high school, but what if that familiar environment suddenly became a cage full of the undead? That’s exactly what happens at Hyosan High School in All of Us Are Dead. The series begins with a shocking zombie virus outbreak caused by a science teacher’s experimental work. One student is infected, and the virus spreads with terrifying speed. A bunch of teens is then forced to barricade themselves inside their school as friends, classmates, and even teachers start turning into ravenous zombies.

An All of Us Are Dead season 2 is officially happening. In fact, the second season just recently wrapped production. This means the new episodes are currently being edited in post-production. It’s unknown if the second season will come out this year, though.

Squid Game season 1

Squid Game season 1 Production Still | Netflix

Squid Game

Squid Game is another one of Netflix’s most beloved shows that you won’t be able to stop watching once you start. It took the world by storm the moment it dropped on Netflix in 2021, and was even the streaming giant’s most popular series of all time at one point. Like Stranger Things, the complete series is available to stream. That means you can jump straight in and binge every episode without waiting!

The best way to describe Squid Game is that it’s a high-stakes survival drama with a premise that is both simple and terrifying. The series follows Seong Gi-hun, a father struggling with debt and a troubled personal life. Desperate and at his wit’s end, he accepts a mysterious invitation to participate in a series of children’s games promising a hefty cash prize for the winner.

But these are no ordinary games. If you lose, you die instantly. Gi-hun then finds himself trapped in a deadly contest alongside 455 other desperate participants, each with their own struggles, motivations, and secrets.

All four of these amazing shows are streaming on Netflix right now.
