However, things are complicated by the secrets that they keep and the sorrows of their pasts. Even though there is only one more book in the series, a show focused on Cody Gunner has plenty of potential to continue beyond its source material. Shows about small-town living and Western lifestyles can easily shift focus to new characters and problems, and A Thousand Tomorrows could do the same if needed.

While the series didn’t find as substantial mainstream popularity upon its original release, its addition to Netflix could make a renewal more likely.
