The third season of Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King is now streaming on Paramount+, but the streamer has already begun promoting another Sheridan-created series that’s coming later this year. The official Landman Instagram account (@Landmanpplus) debuted two new images from the Billy Bob Thornton-led series, this time shining a spotlight on Tommy Norris’ wife and daughter. Ali Larter’s Angela Norris and Michelle Randolph’s Ainsley Norris are the spotlight of the two new Landman images, which can both be found below. Landman Season 2 will begin streaming on Paramount+ on November 16, almost exactly one year after the premiere of Season 1.
Landman’s success didn’t exactly come out of nowhere, but few predicted the show was going to become as big of a hit as it has. After airing alongside the fifth and final season of Yellowstone, Landman has all the gusto required to take the crown from the Kevin Costner-led show to become Sheridan’s biggest hit of all time. It certainly has some hoops it has to jump through before it can claim this title, though. Landman would need several more seasons and at least two spin-offs, similar to how Yellowstone has prequel shows like 1883 and 1923.
There’s no better time to be a Taylor Sheridan fan than right now. In addition to the new season of Tulsa King, starring 80s action icon Sylvester Stallone, the new season of Mayor of Kingstown is set to arrive next month. Mayor of Kingstown stars Marvel veteran Jeremy Renner, and the incoming fourth season will also introduce Sopranos icon Edie Falco to the world of organized crime in Michigan. New episodes of Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and Landman will be arriving from now through the end of the year.
Taylor Sheridan Is Returning to the World of Movies
Taylor Sheridan has been working strictly on TV shows for years now, but he’s returning to the world of movies to begin work on F.A.S.T. The upcoming action thriller has been set for release on April 23, 2027, and it’s already drawing comparisons to Sicario. Sheridan recruited 1923 veteran Brandon Sklenar to star in F.A.S.T., alongside Sam Claflin, LaKeith Stanfield, Jason Clarke, and more. Sheridan is writing the script for F.A.S.T., but he’s passing off directorial duties to Ben Richardson. The film is billed as another drug crime thriller involving U.S. government agencies such as the DEA and CIA.
