Amazon is developing a Tomb Raider movie to kick off their new cinematic universe based on Lara Croft and her adventures. First appearing in the classic 1996 platformer Tomb Raider, British archaeologist Lara Croft and her duel pistols have become an icon both in the realm of gaming and on the big screen thanks to several successful live-action adaptations. While 2018s Tomb Raider movie starring Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina) wont be getting the sequel its ending teased, Lara Croft will be back once again in a live-action movie reboot from Amazon Prime Video.
