It’s pretty hard to set any Baldur’s Gate 3 record. With millions of passionate fans, there’s always someone out there who’s played more, crafted a more intense cosplay, or whispered more sweet nothings to Astarion. Someone has to take the crown in every category, though, and one fan just set the record as the most intense acolyte of the game’s soundtrack.
Reddit user Typerberry27v2 posted a screenshot of their Spotify Wrapped, which declared them the “top listener of Borislav Slavov globally.” Slavov composed the Baldur’s Gate 3 soundtrack, which Typerberry27v2 has apparently listened to for an unbelievable 194,608 minutes. The composer himself showed up in the comments, making his first Reddit post in 11 months to offer his heartfelt thanks and wish everyone a happy holiday season.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Fan Sets Mind-Blowing Soundtrack Record
A Year Of Dedication
Baldur’s Gate 3 features an extensive soundtrack, coming in at 43 tracks and a nearly two-and-a-half-hour runtime. Even so, managing to get 194,608 minutes of listening out of it is a difficult feat to comprehend. In total, that’s roughly 1,324 listens, or approximately one gazillion mentions of being down by the river.
A year has about 525,000 minutes in it, and if you manage to get eight hours of sleep every night, you’d only be awake for about 400,000 of them. Assuming such a healthy sleep schedule, Typerberry27v2 spent nearly half of their waking hours listening to Baldur’s Gate 3 music, to say nothing of how much time they probably spent hearing it while playing Baldur’s Gate 3.
Borislav Slavov Definitely Has A Number One Fan
It’s Tough To Compete
I’m a massive Baldur’s Gate 3 fan, and I can’t imagine getting anywhere close to a record like that. My Spotify totals for all music come in well below that mark, which I think is true for most people. Typerberry27v2, however, doesn’t seem to be getting tired of it. In response to one comment asking whether they’ve started to skip any tracks, Typerberry responded by simply saying, “Banger after banger.” Another reply answers the question of what they do with the other 8 hours every day with the word “Sad.”
Whether that momentum can be sustained throughout 2026 is another question, but Typerberry could probably lose a fair bit of ground without sacrificing the spot at the top. At any rate, the crown is secure for a year. Number one fan is usually a somewhat spurious title, but when it comes to Borislav Slavov’s Baldur’s Gate 3 soundtrack, it does look like we’ve positively identified who should hold the title.
