Salt Cellar Cookie is Cookie Run: Kingdom‘s newest epic-rarity cookie, being a surprise addition alongside White Lily Cookie’s awakened form. She briefly featured in Beast-Yeast episode 11, but you’ll only be able to get to know her in the recently released episode 12.
She is a typical defense-type cookie who defaults to the front of your team. Her best build is quite a straightforward one, but here’s a rundown of her abilities if you want to make sure you’re definitely on the right track.
Best Toppings For Salt Cellar Cookie
Your Walnut Toppings Don’t Have To Sit Around Anymore
When Salt Cellar Cookie uses her skill “Knight of Solidarity,” she deals steel-type damage, summons 4 Kala Namak Knights to fight at her side, and provides her allies with an HP shield. After a knight is hit 3 times, they’ll deliver a stunning blow to their opponents.
Silent Salt Cookie is a good character to use in a team with her, since when on the battlefield with Salt Cellar Cookie, his defense will increase by a whopping 50%.
Usually, increasing a cookie’s damage resistance is a better choice than their defense when it comes to increasing their duration on the battlefield. However, the Kala Namak knights’ attack speed and HP shield power are both dependent on Salt Cellar Cookie’s defense stat.
Their attack speed also increases with Salt Cellar Cookie’s own attack speed stat, but since her role in the team is to tank damage, Walnut Toppings are the obvious choice alongside an epic walnut topping tart. Salt Cellar Cookie can use resonant Blooming toppings, but Hard Walnuts work well as a substitute before you can get your hands on them.
She does have quite a long cooldown, but since she is a frontliner, you need to be careful not to make her too “squishy.” I’d recommend going all-in on her defense stat, but you could choose to look out for cooldown and attack speed bonus substats.
Best Beascuits For Salt Cellar Cookie
A Legendary Hard Beascuit, Regular Or Steelen
As a defense-type cookie like Green Tea Mousse Cookie, Salt Cellar Cookie will benefit from the use of a hard beascuit. For the most optimized build, continue to focus on increasing her defense stat.
Her attacks deal steel elemental damage, meaning she can use a Steelen beascuit, but I personally have opted away from using one since she’s not much of a core damage dealer, and it leaves an extra slot for defense.
Her skill description also notes that her damage resistance is proportional to the defense increase specifically from her beascuit, so, again, you should preferably have all four beascuit slots increasing this stat.
If you’re missing a capable tank in Cookie Run: Kingdom or struggling with the latest Beast-Yeast stages, Salt Cellar Cookie is currently your best bet, as it’s the easiest time to promote her thanks to the featured gacha.
