Cookie Run: Kingdom’s latest update introduced a new event called “Dominion of the Beasts.” This allows players to easily obtain one of the beast-rarity cookies by completing a set of tasks. As you progress through these, you gain the ability to use your selected cookie in different gamemodes.
Similarly to Might Of The Ancients, the aim of this is to give newer players a fighting chance in the arena, as well as provide a boost to unlucky players who may not have been able to finish the most recent World Exploration stages. Even if you’re a hardcore fan, you can still use the soulstones from the event to promote your beast cookies and make them even more powerful.
The Best Dominion Of The Beasts Choice
At This Point In Time, Mystic Flour Is More Useful
There are currently two cookies that you can choose from in the event – Mystic Flour and Burning Spice Cookie. It’s wise to choose the character that will benefit your team composition more.
If you lack a powerful frontliner, Burning Spice will be a great choice, but if you need some extra support, you should go with Mystic Flour Cookie. Both of these cookies have recently received buffs, so either of them will be a fantastic asset for your team.
If you’re an extremely lucky player who already has both cookies maxed out, just choose the one you’re the most interested in, as you’ll learn some facts about their backstory.
However, if you have obtained both or neither of the candidates and need an objective answer, Mystic Flour Cookie is the superior choice. Even though Burning Spice is an incredibly capable tank and damage dealer, he lost his place in the Kingdom Arena meta with the release of Hollyberry Cookie’s awakened form.
Mystic Flour Cookie is currently rarely seen throughout the top arena teams after now that Marshmallow Bunny Cookie is the standard healer, but she still works very well with other cookies such as Eternal Sugar, Awakened Hollyberry, Shadow Milk Cookie, and an extra support. Teams like this will help you climb the ranks further than any composition with Burning Spice.
Best Choice Prediction For Parts Two & Three
Shadow Milk And Silent Salt Cookie Will Likely Remain The Best Beasts
Similarly to this event’s predecessor, Might of the Ancients, it’s safe to assume that the rest of the beasts will be added to the event in part two after the release of Silent Salt Cookie.
Eternal Sugar and Shadow Milk Cookie have held up in the arena for a while, and since they both take up the middle position in a team, it’s unlikely that they’ll be completely replaced by Silent Salt – especially in World Exploration where there aren’t any rarity restrictions.
If either of them loses their place in the meta by the time the second part of the event comes out, I think it’ll more likely be Eternal Sugar Cookie, especially with the future release of White Lily Cookie’s awakened form. It’s entirely possible that White Lily could cancel out Shadow Milk, but it’s going to be a lot harder for a new character to achieve that.

In PvP, Shadow Milk Cookie can only really counter himself, and is absolutely necessary for reaching the higher ranks. Unless a cookie gets released that is specifically built for countering Shadow Milk, he’ll probably stay in the standard team set-ups for quite some time. So, if you haven’t fully upgraded him or are missing a powerful damage dealer on your team, Shadow Milk Cookie will be your best bet.
Though he has yet to be in the game, it’s almost certain that Silent Salt will change the structure of the arena meta. If you don’t obtain him by the time his event is over, then it will help you immensely to get him on your team – particularly if you haven’t awakened Hollyberry Cookie yet.
It’s impossible to predict exactly what his skillset will be, but he will definitely be a solid choice if you already have Shadow Milk fully promoted.
If this event follows the same format as Might of the Ancients, part three will allow you to choose from any of the five beasts. It seems like Shadow Milk Cookie is going to remain as the best choice, but there is a slight possibility that Silent Salt’s introduction could cause him to finally fall out of the meta.
Tips For Completing Dominion Of The Beasts
The Tasks Are Simple But Take Some Dedication
No matter which character you choose, the tasks you’ll have to complete to fully unlock them will remain the same. We currently only have the information available for part one, but parts two and three will likely have very similar tasks that increase in difficulty. Once you complete all 4 of them, you’ll unlock your chosen beast as a fully playable character.

There isn’t anything particularly hard about these tasks, but they are a bit time-consuming and will require you to get your hands on some topping tarts. Understandably, some fans may be discouraged that everyone can now use the beasts for free, but this means that the majority of players will be properly equipped to handle Cookie Run: Kingdom‘s future updates with figures such as the dragons and Dark Enchantress Cookie.
