Get Another 4 Free Games For Prime Day, Including Genre-Defining Horror Classic & Underrated Marvel Masterpiece

Amazon Prime Day kicked off today, and there are four additional free games that can be claimed, including one of the biggest horror games of the modern era and an underappreciated Marvel title. Prime Gaming, a free additional benefit to a Prime membership, has been giving away several games during June and July as part of an early celebration, including Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Star Wars Rebellion.

Revealed in a Press Release and the Prime Gaming blog, the four new games available for free from Prime Gaming are Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, Football Manager 2024, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns. All the titles are available to download now until July 11.

Four More Free Games Add A Lot Of Variety

From Iconic Horror To Sports Management

There is a lot of variety to be found in the four surprise titles. Amnesia: The Dark Descent arguably revived the horror genre and spawned a series of first-person horror games focused on avoiding sanity loss, weaponless enemy evasion gameplay, and puzzles. The game is also often credited as the launching point of several content creators’ careers and the popularity of Let’s Play videos.

With plenty of Summer Deals to enjoy right now, there’s one free “masterpiece” you won’t want to miss on this overlooked and underused service.

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 is a classic Star Wars experience, releasing in 1997 as the second installment in the Jedi Knight subseries. Like the original Dark Forces, Jedi Knight is a first-person shooter, but its lightsaber combat and noteworthy narrative earned it particular critical accolades.

Sports fans will likely enjoy Football Manager 2024 (not to be confused with American football; this is a soccer game). The sports management title, unfortunately, ended up being the last in the series for now, as Football Manager 2025 was canceled earlier this year after numerous delays.

Finally, Marvel’s Midnight Suns might be one of the most underrated Marvel games ever released. As an XCOM-eisque tactical turn-based RPG, Marvel’s Midnight Suns added a twist with a unique deck-building system in its surprisingly deep gameplay. The game features a lot of popular Marvel characters, like Blade, Ghost Rider, Magik, and a lot more, with DLC adding Venom, Deadpool, Storm, and a few others.

There were quite a few titles available for free already, but with these four new ones, it’s a great time to be a Prime subscriber. All the titles can be claimed on Amazon’s Prime Gaming page. Users will just need to be an active Prime member and log in to their account. Once claimed, the page will redirect users to the correct digital distribution service, like GOG or the Epic Games Store, which you will also need accounts for. The full list of currently available free games is as follows:

  • Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2
  • Amnesia: The Dark Descent
  • Marvel’s Midnight Suns
  • Football Manager 2024
  • Dark Envoy
