The Christmas holiday season is a big deal and Paramount+ is making your entertainment its top priority. The streamer has just unveiled a refreshed holiday collection of movies and series that is guaranteed to keep you merry and jolly all season long. No matter what mood you might be in, Paramount+ promises yule find something to get in the spirit. The collection includes hundreds of new seasonal movies and beloved specials across 20 carousels that the streamer says were expertly curated for the watching pleasure of the whole household.
One stand-out offering in the new collection is Dear Santa, Paramount+’s first original holiday movie. Dear Santa reunites Jack Black and The Farrelly Brothers for the first time since they made 2001’s Shallow Hal. It tells the story of a young boy who gets the opposite of what he wishes for Christmas after a spelling error in his letter to Santa gets mailed to Satan (Black) instead. Ever the master of deception, Satan disguises himself as Santa to ruin the child’s festivities. Promotional materials for the film tease the same hilarious fun akin to the Farrelly Brothers’ works before it. Along with Black, Dear Santa features Robert Timothy Smith, Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, and Post Malone.
