Dearest gentle readers, the long wait for Bridgerton season 4 has finally ended! The first half of the newest season is now streaming on Netflix, and because it’s been two years since we last caught up with the ton, it’s no surprise that fans couldn’t wait a second to begin binge-watching the latest episodes, which center on the love story between Benedict and Sophie.
Based on the novel An Offer from a Gentlemen by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton season 4 finds Benedict wrapped up in something of his own A Cinderella Story when a masquerade ball leaves him bewitched by a Lady in Silver. In the first half of the season, Benedict embarks on his journey to track her down, but when does the second half release on Netflix to complete the story?
Bridgerton season 4 part 2 release date on Netflix
The wait for the second half of Bridgerton season 4 won’t be nearly as long as that for the first half. Netflix will release season 4 part 2 less than one month after part 1 on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026. Once again, this part of the season will contain four episodes that will also be around one hour (more or less) in length, though these episodes will bring the season to a close.

Netflix started splitting seasons of Bridgerton in half when season 3 premiered back in 2024. Admittedly, it’s frustrating for fans for two reasons. First, the season are already released two years at a time, and having to wait even longer to finish a full season isn’t exactly what fans want to do. Thankfully, the streamer has only place one month in between the parts (so far).
Also, Bridgerton seasons only contain eight episodes. Even though the episodes are a decent length, the seasons are still short in comparison to the waiting time for them to be released — both in general and in parts. But in general, the series dropping in two parts could be far worse, and on the bright side, the brief pause allows us to savor the season a bit longer than we might.
Without sharing any spoilers, Bridgerton season 4 part 2 will pick up after the shocking ending of part 1, which found the titular gentlemen Benedict making his offer to Sophie. What is that offer? You’ll have to binge-watch the season to find out! The part 1 ending also revealed the identity of who will be moving in next door to the Bridgertons. That will shake up the ton big time in part 2!
Thankfully, Netflix has already renewed Bridgerton for seasons 5 and 6, so we don’t have to worry about the show’s fate beyond season 4. While the next two seasons are in the works, the wait time between each season is still expected to be two years, meaning after we finish watching season 4 part 2 in February, the long wait for new episodes begins again.
