With the holidays right around the corner, Mr. Dappermint is the best Fortnite skin to bask in the festive spirit. Chord Kahele is the other free skin on offer, but the cosmetic is only available to players with access to the Fortnite mobile app.

You’ll Need A LEGO Account To Proceed
You must link your Fortnite and LEGO accounts to get the Mr. Dappermint outfit for free. If this is your first time linking accounts, you’ll also receive the Explorer Emilie skin for free. Follow the steps below to link your LEGO account to Fortnite.
- Head to the Epic Games website
- Log in to your Epic Games account
- Scroll to the top of the page and select your profile in the right corner
- Select Accounts
- Select Apps & Accounts
- Navigate the page to find the LEGO account option
- Select Connect
- Create a new LEGO account if you don’t have one or sign in to an existing account
- Once signed in, select Allow to link your accounts

The Offer Comes With Both LEGO And Fortnite Styles
You’ll need to earn XP while playing Fortnite on the mobile app to get the Chord Kahele skin for free. The process is as simple as jumping into the Fortnite mobile app and earning XP, as there are no specific challenges to complete.
You’ll have until February 21, 2025, to meet the requirements for the free Chord Kahele skin. Unfortunately, the Fortnite mobile app is not available in storefronts worldwide. Currently, players in most regions of Europe should have access to the mobile app.
If you can’t access the Fortnite mobile app and miss out on the free Chord Kahele skin this time, the devs confirmed that it could return to the Shop sometime in the future. The offer for this unique skin also includes both its Fortnite and LEGO styles.
Getting your hands on both the Mr. Dappermint and Chord Kahele free skins involves a relatively simple process. The one issue that you may encounter is the Chord Kahele skin essentially being region-locked due to restrictions accessing the Fortnite mobile app on iOS.
