XO, Kitty season 3 is finally here! All eight episodes are now available to stream on Netflix, and boy, what another great installment. The third season sees Kitty take on her senior year at KISS, and she has several things she wants to achieve before she graduates and steps into the next chapter of her life. One of those goals is to finally define her relationship with Min Ho.
Throughout XO, Kitty season 3, we watch as Kitty navigates the ups and downs of young love, faces unexpected challenges with her friends, and discovers more about herself than ever before. But what’s really exciting about the third season is that we finally get that long-awaited cameo from To All the Boys star Lana Condor. Her appearance as Lara Jean Song-Covey not only brings a nostalgic connection to the original film trilogy but also adds an emotional layer to Kitty’s story.
In this article, we’ve given a complete breakdown of Condor’s cameo in the hit teen series. Don’t worry, we’ve included the season 3 episodes she appears in as well!
MAJOR spoilers are ahead from XO, Kitty season 3!
Lana Condor reprises her role as Lara Jean in XO, Kitty season 3

For those who aren’t familiar with Lara Jean, she’s Kitty’s older sister. In the To All the Boys film trilogy, Kitty was the one to help out Lara Jean with her own love life with Peter. But in XO, Kitty season 3, the tables have slightly turned. Lara Jean steps in to offer guidance, support, and advice to Kitty as she navigates the challenges of her senior year and her romantic feelings for Min Ho.
But of course, Kitty wouldn’t be Kitty if she didn’t also assist her sister in some way. With the second season featuring cameos from fellow To All the Boys stars Noah Centineo and Janel Parrish, it was about time fans got the ultimate reunion with Condor herself.
We first see Condor on our screens as Lara Jean in the second episode of XO, Kitty season 3. At the end of the first episode, Kitty received an urgent phone call from Lara Jean. She explained that she and Peter are experiencing a rough patch in their relationship and asked Kitty to come to New York to be with her for the summer.
In the second episode, we officially see Kitty hanging out with Lara Jean in her apartment in the Big Apple. She’s spent her entire summer there, but it hasn’t been easy for her to see Min Ho hanging out with different girls via social media. Still, she tries her best to be there for her sister. Lara Jean and Peter are struggling with long distance. She lives in New York for her editorial assistant position, while Peter lives in California for his job. She’s unsure if they’ll be able to work out, but Kitty reassures her that they will.
Kitty then mentions to Lara Jean that she read a couple of pages of the book she’s working on. This surprises Lara Jean because she purposely kept the book hidden. However, Kitty basically tells her that it was easy to find. She then switches topics to NYU. She plans to submit an early application to NYU when it’s time and would like Lara Jean’s help. Their conversation then wraps up with Lara Jean encouraging Kitty to make the best of her senior year when she gets back to KISS.
We don’t see Lara Jean again until episode 6. She finally visits Kitty in South Korea after Kitty phones her, crying about her recent breakup with Min Ho. Lara Jean tries her best to support her sister in such a difficult moment, while also helping her with her NYU application. During her 24-hour trip, Lara Jean also meets their cousin Jiwon for the first time. She and Kitty help comfort Jiwon after learning about her unexpected pregnancy.
Lara Jean also tells Kitty during the trip that Peter will be visiting her in New York soon, so they can talk about their relationship. The morning after Kitty submits her NYU application, Lara Jean gets ready to head back to New York. But before she leaves, she informs Kitty that she submitted her manuscript for her novel to her boss. She also briefly speaks with Min Ho, reminding him how great a person Kitty is to have in his corner.
Lara Jean then makes her final appearance in XO, Kitty season 3 during the eighth and last episode. She calls Kitty from New York to wish her a happy 18th birthday, shares that her boss loved her book, and tells her that she and Peter are committed to making their relationship work. This is the last time we see Lara Jean in the third season.
Given that XO, Kitty season 3 ends with Kitty having one more semester left at KISS, we hope that Netflix renews the teen series for a fourth installment. It would also be great to see Condor make another cameo. We’re keeping our fingers crossed!
