Lilo & Stitch Streaming Date Revealed After $1B Box Office Run

The streaming release date has been revealed for Lilo & Stitch. The movie is a Disney live-action remake of the classic 2002 animated movie of the same name. The film features the return of original Stitch voice actor Chris Sanders in the role of the classic fuzzy alien, with a cast that also includes Maia Kealoha, Sydney Agudong, Zach Galifianakis, and Billy Magnussen.

Lilo & Stitch was well-liked when it came out in theaters. It opened to an impressive $146 million, passing the entire domestic gross of this year’s Snow White in just one weekend. The movie also got great reviews from critics, including ScreenRant‘s Mary Kassel, who gave the the movie 7 out of 10 stars.

Disney has officially revealed the streaming release date for Lilo & Stich. The movie is set to release on Disney+ on September 3.

Disney+ announced this through an adorable short video that featured clips from the movie as well as shots of Stitch eating popcorn. The latter half of the video featured the tunes of “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride.”
