'Wonder Man' Resumes Filming

The Wonder Man series just received a wonderful update. Deadline reports that Byron Bowers has joined the cast of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. The performer was recently heard as Nelson in Ten Year Old Tom, the animated series where the titular character learns how to face the adversities of life. Details about his character weren’t disclosed at the moment. Principal photography has already wrapped on the anticipated project, and while the show is aiming to premiere on Disney+ at some point next year, Marvel Studios has behaved particularly coy when it comes to the premise and characters of Wonder Man.


Destin Daniel Cretton will direct some episodes of Wonder Man. The filmmaker was previously at the helm of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Marvel Studios hired him at some point to direct the upcoming fifth Avengers movie. Cretton had to step down from that role to focus on different projects, with Wonder Man quickly turning into a priority for the studio. Stella Meghie will also direct episodes of the upcoming show. The filmmaker previously worked on television series such as Minx and Insecure. Time will tell which corner of the MCU will be explored once Wonder Man premieres on Disney+.


Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will step into the shoes of Wonder Man. In the comic books, the characters is known for being the son of Sanford Williams. As a creative young man, Simon Williams gains ion-based powers, sending him into the action-filled life heroes are known for. Abdul-Mateen II is no stranger when it comes to superhero stories based on comic books. The performer played Black Manta in both Aquaman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, with the villain focused on making life impossible for the hero played by Jason Momoa. Abdul-Mateen II is ready to join the MCU, in a role that fans have been waiting to see on the screen for a long time.


The Wonderful Cast of ‘Wonder Man’

Byron Bowers will be a wonderful addition to the cast of Wonder Man. And he will be joined by both new characters and people who will be returning to the MCU after a long time. Ben Kingsley will reprise his role as Trevor Slattery in the upcoming series. The character is known for pretending to be The Mandarin in Iron Man 3, until it was revealed that Guy Pearce‘s Aldrich Killian was supposed to be the real villain. Demetrius Grosse, Lauren Glazier and Torrey Vogel will also appear in Wonder Man.
