Gangs of London Season 3 finally hit the American streaming service AMC+, and it’s already taken over the platform. Data from FlixPatrol shows that the British thriller is the top show on the streamer, just a week after its addition. American fans of the ultra-violent crime drama have waited close to a year to see the next chapter as chaos reigns in London. All ten episodes aired in the UK in March 2025 and arrived in the U.S. on January 15.
Gangs of London is an adrenaline ride like no other. Each episode is packed with extended action sequences that seem to jump off the screen, providing one of the best viewing experiences ever. The gunfights are devastating, and hand-to-hand combat is brutal. The show features some of the most complex action choreography ever. The third season is as bloody as ever. Elliot (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù) and the Dumani family are caught up in a catastrophic drug game. A spiked shipment causes friction between the gangs and invites the attention of the British government. The violence never spares anyone, claiming some of the most beloved characters in Season 3. Series producer Hugh Warren said in an interview that viewers should never get comfortable because anyone can be killed off at any time. He explained:
“The temptation is to hang on to those characters, because they’re great, but it’s also exciting to keep reinvigorating the show and ‘regenerating’ it. This way, each season is different and feels fresh. There’s a clue in the title: ‘Gangs of London’ is plural. The original concept was always that it could be a rolling theme and that the gangs would be different.”
Prepare for Gangs Beyond London
In addition to the upcoming fourth season of Gangs of London, viewers might be introduced to more gangs from other cities. Amy Powell, president of one of the studios behind the show, Vice Studios, said during a Content London panel that they are interested in bringing viewers more gangs from other global cities in different spin-offs. She explained:
“[We have] the ability to explore what other versions of that we can make beyond the borders of London. Can we make a Gangs of Miami, a Gangs of a different city, and take that IP and expand it with [the] ambitions, as ridiculous as it might sound, of what Marvel does? They’re so smart about how they take a piece of IP and exploit it as much as they can.”
