Prime Video’s #1 Spy Action Thriller Is Perfect for a Weekend Binge

One of the best spy action shows ever released on Amazon Prime Video is now fully available, making it perfect for an immersive and thrilling binge-watch this weekend.

When this series premiered back in August 2025, it shot up to the number one spot on Prime Video’s global streaming charts. Since then, it has maintained a consistent spot towards the top of the list, indicating that it’s one of Prime Video’s most viewed shows of the year.

If you’re a fan of spy action thrillers like Mission: Impossible, The Amateur, and Black Bag, then this new Amazon series is a fantastic option for you. In addition to having blockbuster-level action sequences and stunt work, it’s set within the covert underworld of the CIA, led by an unpredictable former Navy SEAL who answers to no one.

All 7 Episodes Of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Are Now Streaming

With the release of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf season 1 finale on September 24, 2025, all 7 episodes of the celebrated spy action series are now available to binge-watch on Amazon Prime Video.

Taylor Kitsch leads the cast of Dark Wolf as Ben Edwards, a newly initiated CIA agent who enters the underworld of international espionage after being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEALs. The series also includes performances by Chris Pratt (Avengers: Endgame), Tom Hopper (Black Sails), Luke Hemsworth (Westworld), Robert Wisdom (Barry), Dar Salim (Game of Thrones), and more.

Even though the series was released at the end of August, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf makes for a better binge-watch than a weekly episodic release. If you’ve been holding off or skeptical about diving into the series, you’re actually in luck because the 7 episodes make for a highly entertaining watch in just a few sittings. Now, you’ll be able to enjoy the whole show without having to wait week-to-week.

Is The Terminal List: Dark Wolf A Prequel Or Sequel?

There is one caveat to be aware of before enjoying The Terminal List: Dark Wolf this weekend. It’s a prequel to the 2022 Amazon original series The Terminal List, so you will have to have seen the original show in order to get the most out of Dark Wolf. Unlike the recent Hulu prequel series Alien: Earth, you can’t really get away with watching Dark Wolf without seeing the original.

Kitsch’s Ben Edwards is a supporting character in The Terminal List to Chris Pratt’s James Reece. Pratt is featured as a guest star in Dark Wolf but has a much more limited role than he did in The Terminal List, allowing Ben to take the spotlight to reveal his origin story. The prequel series begins roughly 5 years before the original, when Reece and Ben were both Navy SEALs.

If you’re all caught up on The Terminal List and still haven’t given the prequel a shot, there could not be a better time to binge The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. Not only will you get to see what Ben is up to after he leaves the Navy, but you’ll also catch glimpses of the man he truly is, locked deeply within his backstory.
