When is the Selling Sunset season 9 release date on Netflix?
In its early seasons, Selling Sunset had a somewhat unpredictable release schedule, but over the past two seasons, new installments have consistently premiered toward the end of the year. That’s what’s going to happen with Selling Sunset season 9. The highly anticipated ninth season is scheduled to be released on Netflix on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025. You can expect all 10 episodes to drop on this date. A reunion episode will likely be released at a later date.
The week of Selling Sunset season 9’s release is the same week that The Witcher season 4 comes out. That said, you might want to keep that in mind when planning your binge sessions. With both Selling Sunset and The Witcher dropping in the same week, Netflix Lifers are in for a seriously packed viewing schedule!

Of course, you can expect OGs like Chrishell Stause, Amanza Smith, Nicole Young, Mary Bonnet, and Emma Hernan to return to the Oppenheim Group. Frenemies Chelsea Lazkani and Bre Tiesi will also be back. Alanna Gold, who joined the Oppenheim Group and the Selling Sunset cast in season 8, returns as well. Additionally, Jason and Brett Oppenheim will continue to lead the agency as the owners.
When it comes to newcomers, fans can expect to see Sandra Vergara, the adoptive sister (technically cousin) of Emmy-nominated actress Sofía Vergara. Besides being a real estate agent, Vergara is also a media personality and actress.
Is there a Selling Sunset season 9 trailer?
Yes! Netflix dropped the Selling Sunset season 9 trailer on Oct. 15. If you recall from the season 8 finale, there were some unresolved plotlines. We saw Chelsea removing her wedding ring, which hinted at her impending divorce. She was also shown house-hunting. According to Us Weekly, the real estate agent was declared legally single in December 2024.
Meanwhile, Nicole made some serious claims about Emma allegedly being involved with a married man in the season 8 finale. Then, we saw Bre being messy by trying to bring in her friend Lynn as a potential new hire at the Oppenheim Group. Since the ninth season picks up right where season 8 left off, we can probably expect more of this to be explored.
Based on the season 9 trailer, it looks like we’ll see Emma rekindling an old romance. A clip even shows her looking at engagement rings. However, it doesn’t look like Chrishell is the guy’s biggest fan.
Nicole is also going to find herself in a tricky situation it seems based on the trailer. There’s a clip of Amanza telling her that she needs to “get the f**k out” of a restaurant. I wonder if this issue has anything to do with Nicole’s allegations against Emma from last season or if it’s an entirely new conflict brewing within the team. Nicole is always finding herself in drama, so it isn’t surprising that she’s once again at the center of a tense showdown.
The trailer also shows Mary dealing with the aftermath of her house being burglarized. Someone must have sent her flowers as a peace offering or a way to show sympathy, but Bre doesn’t see it as a kind gesture and throws them away.
From just this short 2 minutes and 3 seconds trailer, we can already tell that Selling Sunset season 9 is going to be a season worth watching. Don’t forget to add the show to your watchlist!
