The role earned him multiple Best Actor awards and gained him wider recognition. Since then, Kim Yoon-seok has earned 16 awards and 23 award nominations as both an actor and a director. Kim Yoon-seok made his directorial debut in 2019 with Another Child, a family drama movie about teenagers struggling with their parents’ affairs. The Frog is Kim Yoon-seok’s first K-drama in 17 years.

Actor: Born in Seoul, South Korea, Yoon Kye-sang is a former member of the K-pop group g.o.d. who chose to pursue an acting career following his departure from the group in 2004. Yoon Kye-sang made his acting debut the same year, and his role as Kang Min-jae in Flying Boys earned him the Best New Actor award at the 2005 Baeksang Art Awards. Yoon has since starred in other notable projects, including the movies Poongsan and The Outlaws, where he also received several awards and nominations for his acting efforts.

The Frog’s Supporting Cast & Characters
Ryu Hyun-kyung as Seo Eun-kyung: Ryu Hyun-kyung made her acting debut at the age of 12 in the SBS K-drama Oxtail Soup (1996). She has since gained attention through movies such as The Servant (2010) and Two Weddings and a Funeral (2012). Her character, Seo Eun-kyung, is Sang-jun’s wife.
