New information about The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 has been revealed, confirming a character upgrade as production of the new batch of episodes officially commences. The new season was confirmed ahead of season 4’s premiere, with the upcoming 10-episode installment pulling from the pages of Resurrection Walk, the seventh book of Michael Connelly’s Mickey Haller series.
Now, Deadline has confirmed The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 has officially begun production. Additionally, Cobie Smulders, who first appeared at the end of The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, has been upgraded to a series regular. Smulders was introduced as Emi, who claims to be Mickey’s sister, and whose appearance will shape the upcoming story of the Netflix series.
