Watch Wolverine Breathe For Nine Hours In Latest 'Deadpool & Wolverine' Video

It’s been nearly a year since Deadpool and Wolverine was released in theaters. The film gave fans a final farewell to the 20th Century Fox X-Men universe, hinting at a potential multiverse crossover with our favorite antihero with the main MCU. Unfortunately, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds may not appear in Avengers: Doomsday, based on the recent production announcement (though the full cast of the film has yet to be revealed). But Marvel is aware of how much fans love these two characters that it decided to bring Wolverine back for a [checks notes] nine-hour-long breathing ASMR video.

For context, Marvel Studios wanted to celebrate National Stress Awareness Month and who better to represent stress management by having Wolverine be the face of the event. It’s not like other Marvel heroes fit the bill, like Bruce Banner/Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) or his cousin Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), or most recently, Thaddeus Ross/Red Hulk (Harrison Ford). The video has no introduction or instructions, just Jackman’s Wolverine wearing the iconic yellow suit without the cowl, facing the camera, and making breathing noises for nearly nine hours. On the bright side, Australians who managed to catch the video can be the first to play Wolverine breathing ASMR with meditative music in the background during their sleep.

This nine-hour breathing video is one of many “Marvel Ambiance” videos that Marvel Entertainment has released on social media. Usually, they are location background noises, such as the beach house in Agatha All Along or the sound of riding a ship in space from Guardians of the Galaxy. This is the first time that Marvel has released its lengthy ambiance videos featuring a prominent character, and only time will tell if another familiar face will return for this type of content.

Who in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Is Returning to the MCU?

Marvel Studios announced a huge cast list when it announced its production update for Avengers: Doomsday. The announcement featured a massive list of familiar faces, some new ones who have yet to debut, and those who starred in the original X-Men films. However, not everyone will be part of this feature; either they have yet to be announced or confirm their non-participation. For example, Elizabeth Olsen revealed that she won’t be involved in the next Avengers film due to other projects.

Out of all the cast members that have starred in Deadpool & Wolverine, only one has been officially announced to make their grand return – Channing Tatum. However, the actor shared that he might not be playing Gambit in the film and all he was given was a chair. If Gambit does return to the MCU, his deleted scene in Deadpool & Wolverine may answer how his character is able to escape The Void.

Deadpool & Wolverine is available to stream on Disney+.
