On Nov. 24, Netflix dropped Young Sheldon seasons 1-5 on its platform, and you’re probably quickly making your way through them. But what about Young Sheldon season 6? There’s a total of six seasons in the series, with a seventh and final season airing soon. Sadly, the sixth season is missing from the streaming platform. So, where can you watch it? Find out below.
Young Sheldon is a coming-of-age sitcom originally airing on CBS. It’s a spin-off prequel series to the hit comedy sitcom The Big Bang Theory, telling the origin story of Sheldon Cooper. Viewers follow Sheldon’s early life as he grows up in East Texas with his family while starting high school at the tender age of 9 years old.
Young rising actor Iain Armitage plays the role of a young Sheldon Cooper. In addition, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, Jim Parsons, Annie Potts, Matt Hobby, Wyatt McClure, Emily Osment, and many others join him in the cast.

Young Sheldon season 6 is available to stream on Max
The complete 22-episode sixth season is available to watch on Max, formerly HBO Max. However, it’s important that we mention that in order to gain access to the episodes, you’ll need to be subscribed to the streaming service.
You also have the option to purchase individual episodes or the full season through Amazon Video, Google Play, and Vudu. Also, you can buy individual episodes or the complete seasons of the first five seasons through the websites just listed as well.
Could Young Sheldon season 6 come to Netflix in the future? Of course! But Netflix will have to acquire the streaming rights to the sixth season from Warner Bros. Television. We’ll let you know if this happens.
Could Young Sheldon season 7 arrive on Netflix?
Yes, there’s a possibility. However, the seventh season will have to finish airing on CBS first, and then Netflix will have to obtain the licensing rights. But if you want to start watching Young Sheldon season 7 when it starts airing on CBS, you need to mark your calendar for Feb. 15, 2024, because that’s when the first episode of the seventh season is scheduled to air. Additionally, it’s been reported that the one-hour series finale will air on CBS on May 16, 2024.
