Shane’s Claim To Fame Season 3 Clues

Shane’s Celebrity Relative Clues Point To A Hollywood Legend

During the Claim to Fame season 3 episode 1 Two Truths and a Lie game, Shane told his fellow contestants that his celebrity relative is his cousin, who’s an actor who won an Oscar. He said in his confessional that his relative is an icon in Hollywood. Shane shared that he’s trained in theater, so he knows how to manipulate situations, and his strategy was to misdirect. Shane also told his fellow contestants that he’d spent some time at the Neverland Ranch with Michael Jackson.

During Claim to Fame season 3 week 2, Shane told some of his fellow contestants that he’d had dinner with Elizabeth Taylor, along with his sister. The following week, when the contestants spoke about how they thought that Dedrick might be related to Michael Jackson, Shane revealed in his confessional that he loves Michael Jackson so much, and he was a “very influential person” in his life. He also shared that Michael was his sister’s godfather, and laughed that technically he and Dedrick might be “kind of related … some distant family member.”

During that week’s interrogation game, Shane said that his celebrity relative wasn’t his cousin, and that his relative knew Michael. He also answered that his celebrity relative was still alive, but that was a lie.

It’s always thrilling to see who the contestants are related to on Claim to Fame, but the competitors shouldn’t have to make guesses during week one.

Shane Is Marlon Brando’s Grandson

There Are More Clues That Connect To Marlon

Based on the clues, Shane is Oscar-winning actor Marlon Brando’s grandson. Shane’s father, Miko, who’s Marlon’s son, was Michael’s bodyguard. Marlon and Michael were close friends in the later years of Marlon’s life. In addition, during the week 2 spelling challenge, one of the words was “Valkyrie.” Although it wasn’t mentioned on the show, the song “Ride of the Valkyries” is featured in Apocalypse Now, a film that starred Marlon.

In the week 3 telephone game, one of the limericks had the line, “His toga was in disarray.” This was most likely a reference to Marlon’s Oscar-nominated role as Mark Antony in Julius Caesar. In the week 5 senses challenge, the cannoli and spaghetti represented Marlon’s Oscar-winning role as Vito Corleone in The Godfather. A famous line from the film is, “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” Marlon also won another Oscar for his role in On the Waterfront.

The best evidence that Shane is Marlon’s grandson is his social media profiles. Although they’re set to private, both the Instagram and Facebook pages for Shane Donovan Brando feature a profile picture of Miko, Michael Jackson, and a young Shane.

Although none of the Claim to Fame season 3 contestants have mentioned Marlon yet, it’s only a matter of time before they start to discover more about Shane because there are only five contestants left. If anyone pulls his Wine Room clue, it will surely be very revealing. However, for now, Shane seems to be the frontrunner to win Claim to Fame season 3.
