Who's who in the second season?

Ginny and Georgia season 2 is finally streaming on Netflix, and we’re definitely in for a ride this season! If you’re looking forward to watching the new season, then we must share with you the names of the returning and new cast members. Actually, we’ll take it a step further and break down who’s who in the second season.

Obviously, Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey reprise their roles as the titular characters, Ginny and Georgia, in the second season. You can also expect Diesel La Torraca (Austin), the youngest Miller, to return. But what about everyone else from season 1? Who else returned in their roles in season 2? And what new characters are introduced this season?

Antonia Gentry as Virginia “Ginny” Miller

Antonia plays 16-year-old teenager Ginny Miller. This season finds Ginny coping with the newfound information that her mother murdered Kenny. The last time we saw Ginny, she was riding off on Marcus’s motorcycle with Austin to an unknown destination. But Ginny will eventually have to return to Wellsbury regardless of whether she and Georgia are on speaking terms. She has school and will ultimately have to face Marcus and her former friend group.

Relationship status: Antonia appears to be single. Her last known public relationship was with musician Ezra Pounds. They had started dating in 2012 but didn’t go public with their relationship until 2019, during Valentine’s Day.

Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller

Brianne portrays Georgia Miller, Ginny and Austin’s free-spirited yet protective mom. This season, Georgia will have to figure out how to deal with Ginny knowing about her darkest secret while also trying to remain positive and plan her dream wedding. But what will Georgia do when someone from her past makes their way to Wellsbury and threatens to take away her future?

Diesel La Torraca as Austin Miller

Diesel La Torraca plays the role of kindhearted 10-year-old boy, Austin Miller. When the Millers moved to Wellsbury, Austin had a hard time adjusting to the serene town. Then, he finds out that his incarcerated father never received any of his letters. He discovers that Georgia was storing them and pretending to be his father by forging her own replies to Austin. This is why Austin didn’t hesitate to leave with Ginny to an unknown destination at the end of season 1. Eventually, Austin returns to Wellsbury in season 2 to find his life has changed. His social life has improved, and he forms a bond with his father, who has recently been released from prison.

Nathan Mitchell as Zion Miller

Nathan Mitchell plays Zion Miller, Georgia’s ex-boyfriend and Ginny’s father. After listening to Ginny, Zion decides to stop his active lifestyle and settle in Boston, Massachusetts, to be closer to her. But he wasn’t expecting two visitors on his doorstep in season 2.

Scott plays Paul, the Mayor of Wellsbury and Georgia’s fiancé. Now that he’s been reelected as Mayor, Paul is ready to make changes to better the town. He’s also prepared to marry his fiancée and blend their very different families. But will Paul be able to handle all that comes with Georgia, including her criminal past that is quickly coming to light, no matter how hard she tries to keep it hidden?

Raymond Ablack as Joe

Raymond plays Joe, the owner of the Blue Farm Cafe in Wellsbury. He met Georgia when they were teens and instantly took a liking to her. That crush only intensifies when Georgia strolls into town with that same quirky and sparky personality in the present time. However, Joe doesn’t realize that adult Georgia is the same Georgia he met as a teen until the season 1 finale. But by then, it’s already too late because Georgia is now engaged to be married to Paul. In Ginny and Georgia season 2, Joe tries to move on by focusing on his cafe and dating, but Georgia is always on his mind, no matter how hard he tries to forget about her.

Sara plays Max Baker, Ginny’s new best friend in Wellsbury. However, their friendship falls apart at the end of season 1 when Max discovers that Ginny has been hooking up with her twin brother, Marcus. She also breaks off her friendship with Abby since Abby knew about Ginny and Marcus hooking up and kept it a secret. This season finds Max dealing with her friends’ betrayal and her loneliness from being broken up with by Sophie.

Felix Mallard as Marcus Baker

Felix portrays the role of Marcus Baker, Ginny’s love interest and Max’s twin brother. At the end of season 1, Marcus and Ginny are on good terms after he apologizes to her. However, their romantic relationship is halted because Ginny has her mind set on leaving Wellsbury. But this doesn’t mean Marcus has gotten over her in season 2. He still has love for Ginny, but sadly love is not enough to stop his mental struggles.

Katie Douglas as Abby & Chelsea Clark as Norah

Katie plays Abby and Chelsea plays Norah. They are a part of the close-knit friend group, “MANG,” whose other members are Ginny and Max. But in Ginny and Georgia season 2, Abby has to deal with being iced out by Max after she kept quiet about Ginny and Marcus’s secret hookup. Abby doesn’t want anything to do with Ginny because she believes she’s at fault. She also still struggles with body image issues and family problems at home. In addition, Norah is now Max’s only friend. However, her life pretty much stays the same. She’s still in a relationship with Jordan in season 2.

Jennifer Robertson as Ellen Baker

Jennifer plays Ellen Baker, Georgia’s new friend and neighbor in Wellsbury. However, their friendship becomes damaged after Ellen finds out that Georgia knew about Ginny and Marcus. As season 2 begins, Georgia and Ellen miss each other but refuse to work things out. It doesn’t help that Ginny stole Marcus’s motorcycle. How will these very different women repair their friendship?

Daniel plays Nick, Paul’s campaign manager. In Ginny and Georgia season 2, Nick and Georgia constantly argue because he still doesn’t trust her after he found out she embezzled funds from the mayor’s office. Also, Nick still doesn’t know that his boyfriend Jesse is not actually a third-grade teacher but instead a private investigator named Gabriel Cordova.

Alex Mallari Jr. as Jesse/PI Gabriel Cordova

Alex plays private investigator Gabriel Cordova. He’s sent to Wellsbury on a job to investigate Georgia by Amber Lynn Driscoll, Kenny’s ex-wife. However, he pretends to be a third-grade teacher named Jesse to keep a low profile in Wellsbury. He also dates Nick. At the end of season 1, it looked like Cordova had reached a dead end on his job, but then he receives information that Georgia was previously married to a man named Anthony Greene. In addition, he finds out that Anthony disappeared shortly after they were married. With this new information, Cordova decides to stick around in Wellsbury to continue his investigation on Georgia in season 2.

Sabrina Grdevich as Cynthia Fuller

Sabrina plays Cynthia Fuller, a real estate agent and the mother of one of Austin’s classmates (Zach). Throughout the first season, Cynthia and Georgia do not get along at all. Cynthia even runs for mayor but loses to Paul in the end. In Ginny and Georgia season 2, she pretty much dedicates all of her time to caring for her disabled husband, whose condition has worsened. Will this bring Cynthia and Georgia together?

Aaron Ashmore as Gil Timmins

Aaron portrays the role of Gil Timmins, Georgia’s ex-boyfriend and Austin’s dad. He was mentioned several times in season 1 but was not shown since he was incarcerated for embezzlement. In Ginny and Georgia season 2, Gil is released from prison, and his first stop is Wellsbury. But what is his real reason for being in Wellsbury? It can’t be just to visit his son. Georgia has only ever spoken negatively about Gil, so what will she do when he pops up out of nowhere?

There are five other new characters introduced this season. Ben Caldwell plays a young Gil Timmins, and Zarrin Darnell-Martin portrays Dr. Lily. The other three characters are Simone, Silver, and Bryon.
